She is stunning and your right. Could listen to her to read anything. She takes your breath away . The most Beautiful and Stunning woman in the world . She has it all. Brilliant and Beautiful and just incredible Sexy . What a woman . Love to listen to her and she is leaving her mark on the World .
I literally just had the same thought that I could listen to her for hours. My thought came from a different place though because I heard a horrible sounding woman narrating a video and was thinking how both men and women prefer male narrators because they're usually just more suited for it. I don't exactly know how to describe it simply. She is so easy on the ears though and of course she's very knowledgeable. I just found it funny your comment came up with the exact words that I thought in the first sentence. Edit: you're right she is beautiful.
I love every documentary she has written and presented. She so clearly enjoys what she does and obviously continues to be a passionate student as well as a consummate professor. Her love of these subjects comes through an already remarkable exterior, and just makes her more magnetic and engaging.
Interesting to see Dr. Lipscomb "in the wild", as it were, without a television production crew. The hallmark of a great storyteller is whether they can do it without any fancy tools or "production values", and she certainly can.
I have only recently come across Dr Lipscomb online but since I have been consuming everything I can find. She's obviously a stunning beauty, quite brilliant and she specializes in my very favorite period of English History. Move over boys, I think I'm in love.
Dr. Lipscomb, in the unlikely event you might read this may I humbly offer some notes. You speak very well but you go fast. This is fine for students who are already "in the zone" on this stuff but for dilletantes and thinky-come-latelies like myself it takes time for me to make the connections. I understand you have much to say and like all well-informed and delightfully enthusiastic speakers it can easily start to tumble out. Otherwise, you're a delight to listen to and you clearly have endless facts at your finger ends. As for the cameraperson, how about pointing the camera at Dr. Lipscombe face-on? Then we can also see the slides she has take so much time and care to include in her work. A picture is worth ... etc. But this is a great way to get a better in-depth understanding of the topic and I look forward to more of these lectures by Dr. Lipscombe and her many associates. Thanks for sharing.
Perhaps because it forms such a key part of pupils' history syllabus, to the detraction of the English Civil Wars, say, or the Wars of the Roses. I do like Ms L. Her passion is contagious.
Wait a second, Hold the phone! Is that all that is there listening to this BRILLIANT woman? That place should have been packed! I would have been in the front row with multiple recorders so I wouldn't miss anything she said! Wow, truly unbelieveable!
You can sit in on any class at any university in America and I've never been told I couldn't. I don't know if British universities have the same policy but it seems they do.
Loved the information, but would rather have looked at the slide show and all of the, I'm sure, excellent visual sources about which she was speaking that were shown on the screen behind her, instead of just watching her talk. As long as you can hear her, people would benefit from all of the visuals that she brought and discussed. She is phenomenal, and I would have enjoyed seeing what she brought to show us!
Again, an excellent & interesting presentation. The expression "Henry VIII 'authorised' the first version of the Bible into English," can be very misleading, implying Henry VIII was very much for truth and language barriers being overcome for the lay person. But like the Tudor's, he was very much in control of the narrative of the Bible, which basically was corrupted to suite Tudor ideology. Henry VIII's 'authorised bible' was mostly the work of William Tyndale who was put to death for his work (truth) because he did direct translation from original manuscripts and didn't water down truth. Luther had first made the bible available to the people, but his work was under ban. Tyndale's work was revised (corrupted) and as it wasn't finished, further translation from German was made to complete the "authorised" version of Henry VIII. Henry's version was complete 3 years after executing Tyndale for translating the bible and exposing truth. Tudors didn't recognise any other authority and made their own "version" which was in practicality, much the same as the Catholic faith - just tweaked to suit how the 'empire' would be shaped. Shakespeare is often quoted as forming the English language but Tyndale actually shaped it more. There is a fascinating book on "The making of the King James Bible" that I picked up at the Ashmolean Museum. The Great Bible of Henry VIII has had a pivotal bearing on how The UK became as we know it.
I think that King Henry VIII broke up with the Vatican n formed a new Church of England for Britain. This had made a national identity n pride for Protestamt Britain. 😍😍😍😍
No one is a better presenter of British history. She is a joy to hear and see.
All Brit’s are great presenters. They were born to narrate documentaries.
I could listen to her for hours, really. She's smart, knowledgeable, passionate, personable not to mention really attractive.

I've become addicted to Dr Lipscomb's story telling. I could listen to her read the phone book, I'm sure she'll make it interesting.
My FAVE was "how mid century homes could kill you!" Loved it. Loved the mock-up house and all the dorky goodies.
Simp.
My favourite history tutor 💜

Beautiful and brilliant... 💗😊 Absolutely lovely woman... 😊
I have a question for Miss L. What isn't known about the Tudor's that history has left unanswered? If so which is the most puzzling in her opinion ?

Takes a Welsh family to give England their identity?
There's no such thing as 'the Welsh'.
@@louduva9849 how on earth did you come to that conclusion?
@@louduva9849 So how did a Welshman from a Welsh dynasty (Tudors of Penmynydd) conquer England then? Cry more.
Why wasn't the camera situated facing her and the screen, or was that too simple to do ?

Can you write my essay for me?
The difference between David Starkey and Suzannah Lipscomb? I find one very attractive! Yeah! David Starkey!
An English rose.
The most beautiful babe in history xxx
Its funny how different she sounds when she isn't in TV presenter mode.
Without Henry VIII, there is no religious freedom in the USA.
The camera person should be punished. Lol!
Dangers of The Tudor Home sent me here.
8 Plantagenets watched this video.
Lispcomb, smart and cute....
Henry VIII and Kanye West have similar attributes.
No large empires any more from now on. Too many conflicts in the past empires.
Susannah could read the instruction manual for a washing machine and I'd listen.
