Sasori is my second favorite member behind Pain. Him turning him self into a puppet was one of the coolest things, it's sad that we did not get more people from the sand didn't try using & exploring his techniques. He did the android thing before Kara did.
Sasori is by far one of my favorite characters in all of Naruto and I do believe he had HUGE potential to be a character with a presence similar to Orochimaru if they had let him somehow survive his battle. Just wish he was able to have way more screen time he’s just an interesting and twisted character.
He isn't as resourceful as Orochi. He built an entire village, killed 2 Kage and also acquired very strong allies/shinobi's. Sasori is a mere puppet (excuse the pun)

The foundation was there but he was taken out way too soon. I don’t mean that he needs to be gathering “allies” or making “villages” (which wasn’t even a real village to begin with) but just being a powerhouse in the world that’s unpredictable and scheming but when the time is right could choose to be a possible ally in the right circumstances. Don’t know what “being a puppet” has to do with anything since that was a body enhancement
I always wondered if Sasori had a vendetta against the 3rd Kazekage for sending his parents to their deaths which is why he ended him and turned him into a puppet to even humiliate further.
Sasori is overpowered purely for his poison. His versatility is also crazy. He's got numbers. He's got lethality. He's got defense. Plus, he can always add to his jutsu set through his puppets. There's a lot there.
I agree. Even deidara openly admitted sasori was powerful than he is. I honestly think if sasori fought sasuke instead of deidara, the outcome would have been very different
@@gammafrost He would over exhaust Sasuke, there's a scene of him saying he always measures his attacks depending on the reaction of his opponents, that's why he's considered analytical because he's very precisely observant. He's basically the Itachi version of the leaf village, not even exaggerating he's more powerful than what the anime showed.
@@doomdimensiondweller5627 I never saw the water going to the sky myself, but apparently Kankuro uses him the same way Sasori used himself as a puppet, I think Kankuro made some modifications to be able to use performance of 100 puppets, while having Sasori's puppet body use chakra strings from his vest to control it, I think Sasori is his strongest puppet out of all.

if there is 2 words to describe Sasori, they are "The Deadliest." Also what if Sasori became Kazegake? I know that the Sand Village was basically a Monarchy but after destroying the The third and making him along with himself puppets, i could see him making a case to be the new immortal Kazekage(or try to keep that part a secret). He was also very smart and had form of genutsu that allowed him a network of spys.

His iron sand scattered shower needle shaped like particles are so quick, that even the naked eye can't see transcending when he launches them, this means his opponent would have to make a split second decision, if there's a slight mistake, the battle is over because his poison would start circulating the opponent's body, but yet people say he's weak, like okay dude.

@@MasquedMocha Respectfully disagree with you, Sasori was holding back for much of his fight against Sakura and Chiyo. Every time he uses his fingers to move his puppet strings, he is holding back, since he can control puppets directly through his core which negates the input lag. This input delay is partially the reason Sakura was able to last as long as she did, as she was reading Sasori's finger moments to anticipate the attacks of the puppet. Id est, she does not scale to Sasori at full power. It is implied she would have been cut down by the last attack if Chiyo had not sent out the Father and Mother puppet, and, in turn, the only reason Sasori was hit by it is because he let his guard down due to a specific emotional trigger from the puppet pair. For Sasori's highest scaling, realize that even whilst holding back (using fingers for his puppets) he was able to keep up with Chiyo's own puppetry. Chiyo is someone who has survived fights with Hanzō, which not even the combined Sannin could do without his mercy. Chiyo during Part II is not inferior to this.
@@MasquedMocha Coming in late, but, yes, he held back. I have two ideas as to why. 1) He was arrogant, and didn't think he needed to take them seriously, and was toying with them. (least likely, in my opinion, but just barely) And 2) He was tired. Realized his mistakes, lost connections, whatever...And wanted it to end, but, couldn't let himself go without a fight. That, and maybe he enjoyed "playing" with granny again
He really does, out of all immortals in akatsuki, Sasori´s a threat due to his poison I imagine his recruiting into the akatsuki was under the logic that Hidan and Kakuzu were not very trustworthy and had strong egos so a monster poisoner like Sasori would keep them in line.
Sasori is my favorite Akatsuki member, and one of my favorite characters in general. His backstory is sad and tragic, morphing his personality. His talent is near unparalleled in his jutsu and the technology he employed for his puppets. I also think its understated just how terrifying his personality and actions are. And yet, at the end of it all, he still couldn't kill his humanity fully, letting himself be killed. I wish we could have learned more about him and he hadnt been the first member to die.
Chiyo finally getting the respect she deserves. stronger than the Sannin and Kage. She was one of the ONLY ones to survive as an Edo and they simply could not contain her.
How she didn't go full Godfather on Sakumo, horse head and all, baffles me. She sealed a damn raccoon into a child. The Hippocratic Oath flew right out the window. She might be a closet Yakuza woman because of how tough she is, and she's med. She's tough as nails, and she doesn't get enough credit.
Sasori died to plot armor. Chiyo and Sakura should’ve died ten minutes in the fight. Chiyo was dodging those needles like she had the sharingan, her reasoning was because she knew his moves and could predict attacks. How do you predict randomly generated needles? At one point she had her eyes closed. As well as how can you maneuver Sakura correctly if she’s in a different spot with different needle patterns. And the lag weakness of a puppet master was nonexistent here. I’m not done. Sasori had TWO puppets with the SHARINGAN! Not only does that mean he’s strong enough to fight multiple uchihas but he’s able to use there abilities. Sasori said he’s not going to use anymore human puppets because” tHeIrS No UsE” he could’ve used some uchiha puppets to use genjutsu and other things, he could’ve had a puppet with another kekkei genkai we don’t know about! Besides WHY ISNT HIS CORE PROTECTED AT THE FRONT. HE COULD HAVE A METAL COVERING THERE AND COULD HAVE SN ESCAPE HOLE IN THE BACK. SASORI IS SUPPOSED TO BE SMART HE SHOULD NO THIS, BUT NOOOOOOO SAKURAS PLOT AMOUR OUT-WAYS ALL LOGIC
They need to do a mini series of every Akatsuki members and jinchuriki host's, Sasori has one of if not the worst life in this show. It's so dark and lonley, he basically snapped and turned into a cold blooded killer with no emotions at all; I really want to know how he was able to kidnap the third kazekage without anyone knowing, hope we get a mini series about him.
Sasori is underrated! He is actually a tour de force with all arsenals taken into account. Sasori is also very intelligent in combat, which is the one trait that is always to watch out for in Naruto - intelligence… combined with a disposition for poisoning others is no joke!
Sasori is very underrated, and I can understand that because people are hell bent glazers of powercliffing. A large part of Sasori as a fighter is the lack of knowledge you have on him. He's also somewhat immortal, Chiyo only was able to get him based on her knowledge of puppets, a set up seal and him holding back a little...
I wrote years ago of this but the kage in Suna are really dumb. So they call the third the strongest ever, yet he gets defeated by a puppet user from the same village, when puppets greatest weakness is his iron sand which they also say is the most feared ability. And then the last kage who died was killed by Orochimaru unceremoniously. So not only did Sasori defeat the most powerful and unique technique and user, but also with their own technique that was common and weak against it. So he was more than simply stronger. The kazekage really are exaggerated and had Sasori not defected, would've easily earned the right as the next Kazekage since nobody can basically beat him 1v1 there. But most likely the toughest part was simply touching the third kazekage without getting his puppets or himself locked in the joints. One cut would've been enough to kill him since he didn't have any specialist at hand and far away from anybody to give him medical help.

I’m pretty sure Sasori could design poison to kill in a span of minutes yet his sadistic inclinations made him invent poison so powerful yet “ineffective” only to kill in three days… Sasori wants his enemies to suffer before they die.
Maybe the reason why Sasori wanted the poison to kill in three days, is because more lethal poisons could involve foreign ingredients that could result in faster antidote making, or healing jutsus working on them, Sasori was pretty loyal to the Sand village when he made his poison he only used ingredients natural to his home village and never applied any ingredients from foreign nations.
Nice Easter egg. And Sakumo's techniques should have been in series at some point. It could also have been an opportunity to give Kakashi some leggit power up, like, wow je finally mastered this technique from his father. Although, since Sakumo commited suicide, it would feel not that much impressive. Instead of, wow he beated the Konoha White Fang. It would be, eeew, he went into the leaf cemetery and collected the dead body of Sakumo then went out the village. Overall I would have liked to see Sakumo as an Edo tensei in the 4th war, facing his own son Kakashi. That is a dope fight with great storytelling.
It's weird how people try to gas up Kakuzu, the guy with 4 beasts, who lost to the First Hokage and got beaten by base Naruto, when you have Sasori the guy with 100+ puppets and lethal poison on all his attacks, who made the strongest Kazekage his bitch and stacked his power ontop of his own, who only died due to commiting suicide, right there.

I'd put Kisame above Sasori based on his fight with Killer Bee where he almost no diffed him but was supposed to infiltrate. He also fought 7th Gate guy and just got careless at the end and survived a blunt force of one of Guy's strongest attacks.
Bro.. imagine if he didnt die and perfected his justsu. What if the puppets that he killed could have their abilities (kekkei genkai) to his main body and use their parts. Seriously, people Sasori didnt loose to Sakura. He chose to loose to his parents. Without Chiyo's puppetry experience Sakura would have died as a poisoned pin cushion against the Hiruko puppet. As the puppet cyborg no puppet master could face him. And after the battle Sasori could have chosen to walk away and escape in the carnage of the puppet army I would rate that Sasori could many members of the Akatsuki in a fight.
I think it is astonishing that a power scaling video on Sasori gets approximately 2400 views on a small channel* (no offence, still a great accomplishment) with around 45000 subscribers in just one hour, after all these years... Really shows how grest that series is
Sasori was delt a bad hand the only reason he lost wasn't because he was weak it was because he was fighting two people who were equipped to deal with him better (a girl who was trained by the worlds best medic, and his own grandmother who taught him some of his hidden moves)

Dude, Sasori *is* using his own puppet body against Konan. He's not in his shell. He's using his own puppet body as the master of the 3rd Kazekage puppet. I mean, it doesn't really make sense for that to be what he meant when he said he used it when joining the Akatsuki, but it's not a contradiction. He's clearly using his own body in the fight, albeit not to its full potential. Since joining, he presumably spent the majority of his time inside the shell.
Sasori devellopped 4 major things during his life as a puppet master. The ultimate poison that kills in 3 days Turned his own body into a puppet (right after leaving the village), from the konan fight we know he hadnt yet performed aditional modifications but the scrolls for the water and fire launchers are definitely countermeasures against Konan´s paper if they ever fought again (very smart on his part). Spent time adding more base puppets to his collection totaling 102 (103 if you count himself), 101 of which including himuro dont have the capacity to use their own chackras. Completed a way to puppefy someone else from their living organs and have them rettain their stored chackra and the ability to use jutsus (as shown with the 3rd kazekage) this is basically a improvement of the already forbidden jutsu category of human puppefication, it makes Sasori even deadlier, by breaking the norms puppet users like Kankuro and Chiyo followed all their lives, simply put this makes it so Sasori is like the Tsunade of Puppet masters, completely revolutionizes the field.

Facts: - Deidara said he was much stronger than him - Orochimaru was too afraid to assassinate him alone and needed the element of surprise - Chiyo was at least Sannin level if not higher (Hanzo) - He killed the strongest Kazekage - In the 4th war he only had his human body and no tools, and was still dangerous - Was not afraid of Itachi at all despite knowing what he can do Chiyo was perhaps Hanzo level, equipped with knowledge of puppets and Sasori’s fighting style/weakness, antidote to his poison, Sakura’s healing, and a super human strength puppet (Sakura). Even after all of this, Sasori toyed with them, easily saw their trap and allowed himself to be killed. Based off his intelligence, he’s nearly unstoppable. If he had the same knowledge and prep Konan had, he might’ve even got the best of Obito in that situation. And we don’t know if genjutsu even works on Sasori. He could win in a battle of endurance against Itachi, if he wasn’t destroyed by Susano. Itachi would need to protect himself by a never ending barrage of poison and attacks, can’t rely on genjutsu, and has very limited chakra. How long can he last? Pain has a better chance because his almighty push is quite a strong counter, and we don’t know if his corpses would be affected or slowed down by poison. The 6 paths could overwhelmed him, or Sasori could do what Naruto did and take advantage of the Almighty Push cooldown with continuous attacks. If he can beat the strongest Kazekage and Orochimaru who defeated the strongest Hokage, then there aren’t many in the world who could stop him. Chiyo was his perfect counter and still lost.
I mean,the guy has potential to kill anyone in the Akatsuki if he can hit them. He is powerful. He has so many tools,both AoE,crowd control and 1vs1 (to use shorthand). He is awesome. Only weird thing is,do we know of any chakra nature(s) he has? One gotta wonder what happens if he poisons Hidan and Kakuzu? Does Hidan remain permanently poisoned with a deadly 3 days to die poison he can just coat into his weapons and use against his enemies while instantly being able to poison his target once the ritual is complete? What about Kakuzu? Does he lose one heart everytime he gets poison or is it a instant death as his body itself gets poisoned if the cells arent removed, he risks dying permanently right away.

Yeah, but Orochimaru at that time was not anymore an Akatsuki member, plus in the tiny piece of flashback over the death of Rasa (I believe it was a Kinimaro flashback over the discovery of his illness), we see that Orochimaru was accompanied by Kimimaro and Kabuto. I think regardless, Rasa is not Orochimaru's level, but he may would have had the chance to escape on a 1v1. Really headcanon guess tbf. We can also add that, most of foreign Kages would loose a 1v1 versus Orochimaru part 1. Onooiki would get poisoned or clapped by Edo Tensei, Mei would just die, Gaara would die. Ay has the most chances, but Orochimaru's arsenal is so weird and unorthodox. He has a ridiculous stamina that allows him to survive being cut in half, got his arm ripped off. A battle of endurance against this guy is a bold bet. Along the fight you can get poisoned, or have to fight immortal reincarnated ninjas, with weaken version, but still troublesome If you're not proficient enough with sealing Justus. He is also very good at sealing Justu, like if he bites you, you end up with a curse seal and you're paralyzed for a good amount of time.
I didn't even thing about the last point. Sasori couldn't get his puppet body back snice kankuro had it and didn't have any strong puppets to work with. We also didn't even see Sasori using everything he could when he was alive since he wanted to lose and never took out the forth scroll he had

In terms of akakutski I think sassori falls Zedstu Hidan Konan without prep Deidera Sassori Kakazu Kisame Orchiamaru Itachi Pain Obito The reason he is below kakazu is because for one kakazu diamond morph would negate sasori poison none of his swords would be able to get through it since diamond morph held up against tailed beasts attacks like the 2 tails. also you could argue that the masks wouldn’t be effected by poison cause they are just masks. The poison cloud sassori can do can be blown away by the air style kakazu knows. Lastly kakazu was fast enough to catch kakashi multiple times and I 100 percent believe that, that kakashi is faster then a sakura with a mental amp. To top it all off all the masks can fly.
The problem with diamond morph tho is that kakazu can't move that area,so there might be a scenario sasori locks him in place if he has to protect his entire body

And again kakazu was fast enough to catch kakahsi on multiple occasions during there fight and kakahsi is waaaaaaaaaaay faster then sakura so kakazu could probably just doge a lot of stuff sassori can do.

So saying that Kakuzu can’t move his hardened body parts is somewhat inaccurate… and besides, even if kakuzu hardens his whole body, the other 4 masks can fly around and launch devastating jutsu that would make it hard for sasori to try to “capture” or “seal” or “lock into place” the motionless kakuzu. I think people underestimate how deadly false darkness is! It’s a lightning style that took TWO lightning blades from kakashi in order to be countered! BARELY countered at that.... I have videos on my channel that go into kakuzu’s speed, because kakuzu is indeed super fast! kakuzu should definitely be considered more dangerous than sasori!
I don't rly think of itachi and obito as part of the akatsuki since they where clearly meant for other points of the story. Itachi was ment as sasukes boss fight before the kage summit and we know that he always worked for the leaf while obitos main part was in the war and nobody even talks about the akatsuki by that point.
Chiyo is mid kage level during that fight. Sakura is high chunin to low jonin in combat during that time but her attack power is mid kage easy during the fight. Sasori if he had taken the fight seriously from the start would have won mid diff. (either way he let himself die)

@@jsull81 No. It was prep. Itachi would beat Hashirama 100% with prep time. Maybe even Shikamaru. It doesn't matter, Konan couldn't do anything to Obito after her plan failed. And we saw her getting negged by base Jiraiya too. So Konan is definitely weak compared to someone like Sasori.

if there is 2 words to describe Sasori, they are "The Deadliest." Also what if Sasori became Kazegake? I know that the Sand Village was basically a Monarchy but after destroying the The third and making him along with himself puppets, i could see him making a case to be the new immortal Kazekage(or try to keep that part a secret). He was also very smart and had form of genutsu that allowed him a network of spys.

His iron sand scattered shower needle shaped like particles are so quick, that even the naked eye can't see transcending when he launches them, this means his opponent would have to make a split second decision, if there's a slight mistake, the battle is over because his poison would start circulating the opponent's body, but yet people say he's weak, like okay dude.

Every time he uses his fingers to move his puppet strings, he is holding back, since he can control puppets directly through his core which negates the input lag. This input delay is partially the reason Sakura was able to last as long as she did, as she was reading Sasori's finger moments to anticipate the attacks of the puppet. Id est, she does not scale to Sasori at full power. It is implied she would have been cut down by the last attack if Chiyo had not sent out the Father and Mother puppet, and, in turn, the only reason Sasori was hit by it is because he let his guard down due to a specific emotional trigger from the puppet pair.
For Sasori's highest scaling, realize that even whilst holding back (using fingers for his puppets) he was able to keep up with Chiyo's own puppetry. Chiyo is someone who has survived fights with Hanzō, which not even the combined Sannin could do without his mercy. Chiyo during Part II is not inferior to this.

(least likely, in my opinion, but just barely) And 2) He was tired. Realized his mistakes, lost connections, whatever...And wanted it to end, but, couldn't let himself go without a fight. That, and maybe he enjoyed "playing" with granny again

He really does, out of all immortals in akatsuki, Sasori´s a threat due to his poison I imagine his recruiting into the akatsuki was under the logic that Hidan and Kakuzu were not very trustworthy and had strong egos so a monster poisoner like Sasori would keep them in line.
Sasori is my favorite Akatsuki member, and one of my favorite characters in general. His backstory is sad and tragic, morphing his personality. His talent is near unparalleled in his jutsu and the technology he employed for his puppets. I also think its understated just how terrifying his personality and actions are. And yet, at the end of it all, he still couldn't kill his humanity fully, letting himself be killed. I wish we could have learned more about him and he hadnt been the first member to die.

Sasori died to plot armor. Chiyo and Sakura should’ve died ten minutes in the fight. Chiyo was dodging those needles like she had the sharingan, her reasoning was because she knew his moves and could predict attacks. How do you predict randomly generated needles? At one point she had her eyes closed. As well as how can you maneuver Sakura correctly if she’s in a different spot with different needle patterns. And the lag weakness of a puppet master was nonexistent here. I’m not done. Sasori had TWO puppets with the SHARINGAN! Not only does that mean he’s strong enough to fight multiple uchihas but he’s able to use there abilities. Sasori said he’s not going to use anymore human puppets because” tHeIrS No UsE” he could’ve used some uchiha puppets to use genjutsu and other things, he could’ve had a puppet with another kekkei genkai we don’t know about! Besides WHY ISNT HIS CORE PROTECTED AT THE FRONT. HE COULD HAVE A METAL COVERING THERE AND COULD HAVE SN ESCAPE HOLE IN THE BACK. They need to do a mini series of every Akatsuki members and jinchuriki host's, Sasori has one of if not the worst life in this show. It's so dark and lonley, he basically snapped and turned into a cold blooded killer with no emotions at all; I really want to know how he was able to kidnap the third kazekage without anyone knowing, hope we get a mini series about him.
Sasori is underrated! He is actually a tour de force with all arsenals taken into account. Sasori is also very intelligent in combat, which is the one trait that is always to watch out for in Naruto - intelligence… combined with a disposition for poisoning others is no joke!

Sasori is literally the Orochimaru from the Sand Village
Sasori is very underrated, and I can understand that because people are hell bent glazers of powercliffing.
A large part of Sasori as a fighter is the lack of knowledge you have on him. He's also somewhat immortal, Chiyo only was able to get him based on her knowledge of puppets, a set up seal and him holding back a little...
I wrote years ago of this but the kage in Suna are really dumb.
So they call the third the strongest ever, yet he gets defeated by a puppet user from the same village, when puppets greatest weakness is his iron sand which they also say is the most feared ability.
And then the last kage who died was killed by Orochimaru unceremoniously.
So not only did Sasori defeat the most powerful and unique technique and user, but also with their own technique that was common and weak against it. So he was more than simply stronger.
The kazekage really are exaggerated and had Sasori not defected, would've easily earned the right as the next Kazekage since nobody can basically beat him 1v1 there.
But most likely the toughest part was simply touching the third kazekage without getting his puppets or himself locked in the joints. One cut would've been enough to kill him since he didn't have any specialist at hand and far away from anybody to give him medical help.
I believe it's explained in a book that Sasori managed to weaken the kazekage by micro poisoning his food for weeks before fighting him.

Maybe the reason why Sasori wanted the poison to kill in three days, is because more lethal poisons could involve foreign ingredients that could result in faster antidote making, or healing jutsus working on them, Sasori was pretty loyal to the Sand village when he made his poison he only used ingredients natural to his home village and never applied any ingredients from foreign nations.

Nice Easter egg. And Sakumo's techniques should have been in series at some point. It could also have been an opportunity to give Kakashi some leggit power up, like, wow je finally mastered this technique from his father.
Although, since Sakumo commited suicide, it would feel not that much impressive.
Instead of, wow he beated the Konoha White Fang. It would be, eeew, he went into the leaf cemetery and collected the dead body of Sakumo then went out the village.

Dude, Sasori *is* using his own puppet body against Konan. He's not in his shell. He's using his own puppet body as the master of the 3rd Kazekage puppet. I mean, it doesn't really make sense for that to be what he meant when he said he used it when joining the Akatsuki, but it's not a contradiction. He's clearly using his own body in the fight, albeit not to its full potential. Since joining, he presumably spent the majority of his time inside the shell.

Sasori devellopped 4 major things during his life as a puppet master.
The ultimate poison that kills in 3 days
Turned his own body into a puppet (right after leaving the village), from the konan fight we know he hadnt yet performed aditional modifications but the scrolls for the water and fire launchers are definitely countermeasures against Konan´s paper if they ever fought again (very smart on his part).
Spent time adding more base puppets to his collection totaling 102 (103 if you count himself), 101 of which including himuro dont have the capacity to use their own chackras.
Completed a way to puppefy someone else from their living organs and have them rettain their stored chackra and the ability to use jutsus (as shown with the 3rd kazekage) this is basically a improvement of the already forbidden jutsu category of human puppefication, it makes Sasori even deadlier, by breaking the norms puppet users like Kankuro and Chiyo followed all their lives, simply put this makes it so Sasori is like the Tsunade of Puppet masters, completely revolutionizes the field.

I've not seen one video that mentions Sasori's water style that cuts through freaking stone. Y'all nerfing bro. Damn.
Facts:
- Deidara said he was much stronger than him
- Orochimaru was too afraid to assassinate him alone and needed the element of surprise
- Chiyo was at least Sannin level if not higher (Hanzo)
- He killed the strongest Kazekage
- In the 4th war he only had his human body and no tools, and was still dangerous
- Was not afraid of Itachi at all despite knowing what he can do
Chiyo was perhaps Hanzo level, equipped with knowledge of puppets and Sasori’s fighting style/weakness, antidote to his poison, Sakura’s healing, and a super human strength puppet (Sakura). Even after all of this, Sasori toyed with them, easily saw their trap and allowed himself to be killed.
Based off his intelligence, he’s nearly unstoppable. If he had the same knowledge and prep Konan had, he might’ve even got the best of Obito in that situation. And we don’t know if genjutsu even works on Sasori. He could win in a battle of endurance against Itachi, if he wasn’t destroyed by Susano. Itachi would need to protect himself by a never ending barrage of poison and attacks, can’t rely on genjutsu, and has very limited chakra. How long can he last?
Pain has a better chance because his almighty push is quite a strong counter, and we don’t know if his corpses would be affected or slowed down by poison. The 6 paths could overwhelmed him, or Sasori could do what Naruto did and take advantage of the Almighty Push cooldown with continuous attacks.
If he can beat the strongest Kazekage and Orochimaru who defeated the strongest Hokage, then there aren’t many in the world who could stop him. Chiyo was his perfect counter and still lost.

One gotta wonder what happens if he poisons Hidan and Kakuzu? Does Hidan remain permanently poisoned with a deadly 3 days to die poison he can just coat into his weapons and use against his enemies while instantly being able to poison his target once the ritual is complete? What about Kakuzu? Does he lose one heart everytime he gets poison or is it a instant death as his body itself gets poisoned if the cells arent removed, he risks dying permanently right away.

Yeah, but Orochimaru at that time was not anymore an Akatsuki member, plus in the tiny piece of flashback over the death of Rasa (I believe it was a Kinimaro flashback over the discovery of his illness), we see that Orochimaru was accompanied by Kimimaro and Kabuto. I think regardless, Rasa is not Orochimaru's level, but he may would have had the chance to escape on a 1v1. Really headcanon guess tbf.
We can also add that, most of foreign Kages would loose a 1v1 versus Orochimaru part 1. Onooiki would get poisoned or clapped by Edo Tensei, Mei would just die, Gaara would die.
Ay has the most chances, but Orochimaru's arsenal is so weird and unorthodox. He has a ridiculous stamina that allows him to survive being cut in half, got his arm ripped off. A battle of endurance against this guy is a bold bet. Along the fight you can get poisoned, or have to fight immortal reincarnated ninjas, with weaken version, but still troublesome If you're not proficient enough with sealing Justus. He is also very good at sealing Justu, like if he bites you, you end up with a curse seal and you're paralyzed for a good amount of time.
I didn't even thing about the last point. Sasori couldn't get his puppet body back snice kankuro had it and didn't have any strong puppets to work with. We also didn't even see Sasori using everything he could when he was alive since he wanted to lose and never took out the forth scroll he had

The reason he is below kakazu is because for one kakazu diamond morph would negate sasori poison none of his swords would be able to get through it since diamond morph held up against tailed beasts attacks like the 2 tails. also you could argue that the masks wouldn’t be effected by poison cause they are just masks. The poison cloud sassori can do can be blown away by the air style kakazu knows. Lastly kakazu was fast enough to catch kakashi multiple times and I 100 percent believe that, that kakashi is faster then a sakura with a mental amp. To top it all off all the masks can fly.
The problem with diamond morph tho is that kakazu can't move that area,so there might be a scenario sasori locks him in place if he has to protect his entire body

So saying that Kakuzu can’t move his hardened body parts is somewhat inaccurate… and besides, even if kakuzu hardens his whole body, the other 4 masks can fly around and launch devastating jutsu that would make it hard for sasori to try to “capture” or “seal” or “lock into place” the motionless kakuzu. I think people underestimate how deadly false darkness is! It’s a lightning style that took TWO lightning blades from kakashi in order to be countered! BARELY countered at that.... I have videos on my channel that go into kakuzu’s speed, because kakuzu is indeed super fast! kakuzu should definitely be considered more dangerous than sasori!

I don't rly think of itachi and obito as part of the akatsuki since they where clearly meant for other points of the story. Itachi was ment as sasukes boss fight before the kage summit and we know that he always worked for the leaf while obitos main part was in the war and nobody even talks about the akatsuki by that point.

Chiyo is mid kage level during that fight. Sakura is high chunin to low jonin in combat during that time but her attack power is mid kage easy during the fight. Sasori if he had taken the fight seriously from the start would have won mid diff. (either way he let himself die)

The fact that we never got to actually see a proper sage mode Orochimaru cement his power amongst the akatsuki is very disappointing.

@@jsull81 No. It was prep. Itachi would beat Hashirama 100% with prep time. Maybe even Shikamaru. It doesn't matter, Konan couldn't do anything to Obito after her plan failed. And we saw her getting negged by base Jiraiya too. So Konan is definitely weak compared to someone like Sasori.
@@Stolas9 itachi would get folded against hashirama with or without prep, if a fully powered madara couldn’t beat him with a fully controlled nine tails cloaked with susanoo and a eternal mangekyo sharingan what makes you think itachi even comes close, even a fully healthy itachi gets clapped.
