the problem now, the original uses the same sound effect as the ability ingame and you've lost that, and i cant see this version being used for the ingame sound effect the only thing that i feel this improves on is the sound of turbulence and objects whizzing past the observer, otherwise it just doesnt match the overall sound design of warframe anymore.. interesting proof of concept though and good to see the perspective different designers have to offer, this gives it a more cinematic and realistic feel, but warframe to me is meant to be a power fantasy and a fever dream, and making minimal sacrifices in terms of representing the gameplay at the forefront. i'd like to see this same approach but including enhanced versions of the games sfx as opposed to their realistic noise counterpart
I appreciate the feedback. I approached this as if it was a new IP, and there are no pre-existing signature SFX for any characters, for neither cinematics or in-game. As you said, more of a proof of concept. I do totally agree that Mag's signature sounds are just 🤌
