Fair review as always. Thank you for covering IEMs Akros. Seems an appropriate "upgrade" to Salnotes Zero. So many many options in market though

The review I've been waiting for. I personally love this iem. Needs a good dongle dac to really bring it out though. So it is just a tad power hungry but not by much. I got the red color as i dont have anything aside from silver and black in my collection. Thought id switch it up this time

@Lacosagt not sure which is best but I'm using a geekria dongle dac that has the same chipset as the moondrop dawn pro.
The Sonus sounds a little underwhelmed at first listening and perhaps that’s why many people give it a thumbs down. But that’s exactly the beauty of this iem, it doesn’t wow you at first but it grows on you and that’s what it did to me so much so that I pick it up more often than I thought I would. Loving it!

That's totally correct ....it's so relaxed that it borders the plain on the initial listening experience, but quickly you.realise how competent it.is.
@akros9333 considering the way you described the simgot em6L, how do you think it compares to the kato? I have a kato and love the lush vocals, is the em6L an upgrade to it?

I had the Sonus and the Legato, and liked the Sonus way better. I agree totally with you about about the Legato on the tuning,that’s why I sent it back. The bass was over done, crossed over at 800 hz instead of 400hz? Who knows. I did send the Sonus back because it sounded a little thin on male vocals, but maybe buy it again on 11/11 sale. I think it’s worth $49 imo. T. D. Monk didn’t like it, but he’s about the only one as far as I know. A great review as always.
Great review. Would you choose the Dunu Titan S or this if you had to pick one to keep?
I had the Titan S and I liked it but sold it because of lack of bass. Sonus is better imo. Titan S has more midrange but lacks bass and treble extension. Sonus has a better fit as well.
I think I arrived too early on this one... Either my connection is bad or TH-cam hasn't fully processed the video yet. Oh boy...
For the ventura iem and iem with extra bass. I used the filters from sonus and I managed to reduce the bass. It's a hard filter. For rhe sonus I naked to place a fikter with 350 mesh and sounda like the zero but better quality for loud volumes

Curious on the ve stack as well, how RU7 line-out on the runabout 2b-fe works in comparison with the prime DAC.
I want a upgrade from my QKZ X HBB and i love warm sounding iems,i hate sibilance or treble focussed iems.
I bougt the Sonus, the Tangzu fudu and the Simgot EW200 but all were really not an upgrade compared to my eq’d QKZ X HBB.
Do you think the Galileo or EM6L are an upgrade and which one would you suggest?

I use the RA2B with the M15 as a DAC.....sounds slightly better than with the Prime DAC

7hz is the most groundbreaking iem brand. They just don't sit on their laurels. Both in terms of fit & design & tuning & drivers. Timeless totally unique design materials & tuning for planar ever. Legato basshead monster tuning with comfy all alu build, & now this with resin & alu hybrid comfy shell with another different tuning & driver compliment.
I do agree simgot is definitely better.

Do you think that this can co-exist harmoniously in a collection that already includes the EM6L and EA500? Does it have that nearly imperceptible delay on bass notes that some hybrids (including the EM6L) have?

Simgot EM6L, but watch out for the nozzles, they can come off and they don’t have a lip to keep ear tips from coming off.

No it's an interesting listen bit EW200 is superior espacial technically
