  • My cover on vocals & organ
Transposed down from Eb to C, so I could sing it without hitting my falsetto.

Love the growl in this Hammond. Great vocal and performance!

Thank you so much for your compliments- they mean a lot to me. The growl is a combination of basic overdrive combined with increased transformer gain & hysteresis texturing. I had to read up on the hysteresis part, and still don’t fully understand it, but I know the sound works.
As for my vocals, I don’t consider myself a singer per se, but I changed the key to suit my voice, and it worked for me.
I like doing songs that are catchy to me, but not necessarily that well known. It’s more fun to me that way.

Great play thru, John! And what a great song too. I don’t know if it’s considered a b side or not but somehow I’ve never heard it before. The lesser known songs always seem to be my favorites also as you mentioned in a previous comment.

Thank you so much for the wonderful compliment. So appreciated. I’m going to work on another B-side classic very soon.
BTW… I dig your username! Very unique and original! 😎
Have a great rest of your weekend.
