I've been watching your videos, and got a question :
When you cut out along e.g. badges, locks & tank filler necks, how do you ensure the wrap doesn't shrink when exposed to hot sunshine ?
I recently bought a car to use as a present, and gave it a quick wrap. Due to time constraints, I did some similar trimming, without folding back around the edges. On wing mirrors and some internal trim panels. Parked the vehicle in the sun, next day the original colour was shining through at those trim edges.
I would love to know how you avoid the heat shrinking ?
Good question sir... In this type of work experience is must first of all... Second thing use 3m 94 primer which helps to better stick on edges... And don't heat on last area... Last area of Vinyl should be in original condition
