Yeah the story really went off the rails at the end and I wish they had more episodes to further develop the story but the animation of this show was above and beyond. It was such a work of art.
2:03-I love this scene, the look of love and rapture in Yukimaru's eyes as he watches Fena dance, flashing back in places to when they were children on the Hope, showing just how much and for just how long he has been captivated by her. In a way, it's similar to Helena and Abel's relationship, but this new generation has a chance the old did not: to realize their love for each other before it is too late and to shape it into something beautiful and true.
THIS was my favorite part. And I love how Yukimaru looked at Fena the whole time. As if he was saying: “Watching her danced…made me fall in love with her all over again…”

She is definitely not underrated in anyway in game ost and anime ost. She has been awarded rewards for her composition. They do give awards for anime OST's. I think Kevin Penkin got one not long ago.

Man, forget witches or sirens, the real angel here is Music composer Yuki Kajiura with this song which we already listened to a bit in a Fena’s dream before but now it’s the whole thing! I can hear bits of Madoka’s ‘Sis puella magic’ tribal, chant and flute, also the dignity of Fate’s Holy war, KnK’s heavenly choirs and even the Celtic strings and ethnic drums of SAO. Also dear KALAFINA 😢. I wish I was that productive. Kajiura has composed all Fena’s music, op, along with Vanitas’ soundtrack and don’t forget she has composed the total of 3 songs for Lisa and Aimer for the upcoming next season of Demon Slayer!! And they are ALL HITS. Crazyyyy talent. I had little expectations for this anime. I was gladly wrong and hiring Kajiura was a genius move! I remember initially being interested in this show upon seeing the promotions of it before it aired, buht then forgot about it when I heard a kind of unaminous "it's a bit of a mess", but this scene's animation, music, and story telling are freaklin' stellar ahnd enchantin'.
This scene is certainly perfect. I love it and I globally liked the anime. Despite the fact that it’s short all characters are well developed. The ending is rushed indeed but I think they wanted to leave things unexplained. (SPOILER) It's strange that her mother didn't lose her memories and kept the blond hair. So I think maybe she made the choice of passing her choice to her daughter? Anyways Fena seems now completely free of the curse, maybe she chose to end it.

This scene mesmerized me so well i was caught like Yukimaru, Surprised, Mesmerized by beautiful dance of Fena... The dance, The ost, The music and The voice everything matched so well and ofcourse the beautiful animation of Production I.G. Now i see they showed a little bit of dance in the opening too. This feels so much like i am playing Tomb Raider, Uncharted or Assassins creed haha unlocking the treasure.
Given a longer run time this show could have had so much potential. Like many this scene is my favourite however I wish there was more foreshadowing for this moment. For example, if there had been a scene where Fena was worried or stressed and secretly performed part of the dance to ease her spirits. She doesn’t understand why the same routine calms her nerves, all she knows is that it does.
