Marketing departments and many retailers need to be careful here, and make things really clear. With high performance 'toy' blasters selling at low prices, sat on shelves next to typical kid friendly ones, they WILL end up in the hands of younger kids. Ignorant parents will buy them for kids because they're good value and advertise "superior" performance, only to find too late they're totally unsuitable for many Nerfers. In a society that loves blame everyone except themselves, there will be the usual clickbait headlines, ridiculous horror stories in the "news" because of (totally foreseeable) injuries. Threats of litigation, parents contacting politicians demanding restrictions and regulations... and suddenly manufacturers will shy away. It's what makes America great. 😂

The ability to not top load on fly is a big no from me skipping this one

Yeah, that part isn’t a deal breaker for me, but i can see why people aren’t happy with that. It was an endearing feature of the original that allowed for “quick” dart recovery and fire, mid battle.

You can't really do that with Talon mags, though. The feed lips are too tight. You have to use an old fashion Katana magazine, and that really limits you.

Oh dear, toy manufacturers are so thoughtless... they should have consulted you before making this. I mean, when you're paying the exorbitant pice of $25, so you would expect absolute perfection. 😂
