This was super helpful, great vid! By the way, there's a way to easily apply the settings from one clip to a bunch of other clips. Hit cmd+C on the clip you want to copy the attributes of and then select the clips you want to paste those attributes to. Hit opt+v and then in the pop up window toggle Video Attributes on. Then hit apply and boom, they all will have the same settings as your first clip

I wish to auto subtitle feature in Davinci resolved 18.5 loaded the text file as Text+ or at least gave you the option toggle it when it’s been created. That would make this process soooo much easier.

This is by far the best tutorial for Creating these captions. I edited Videos for others and learned it through this Video. Then I unlearned it, because I had some stuff in life to do, and learned it again through this Video for 4 Times now. This Tutorial is eay to understand and the dude really knows his Stuff. Music is Cringe, but the rest if the Video is 5 Stars.

Now Da vinci resolve has automatic subtitles :)

@@yokunaa It is the "Convert to subtitles to Graphics" in Premiere that matters because it allows you to quickly apply any styling to any individual character of the text. In Resolve, you just have plain and boring subtitles and the Automatic Caption doesn't allow you to do anything about it.
