Palestinian Journalists Hind Khoudary joins Mehdi in this special segment of ‘Mehdi Unfiltered’, to discuss putting her life on the line while she covers the Israeli genocide of her occupied people in Gaza.
Since the start of the war, Khoudary has amassed nearly one and a half million followers between Instagram and Twitter. After all the bloodshed, she says she has seen very little support from her colleagues in the West.
Hind is one of the few remaining journalists in occupied Gaza. Israel has already killed at least 127 journalists and media workers there since Oct. 7.

I’ve watched Hind for a year. Thank you Hind for your remarkable bravery. I pray for you everyday. Seeing how American weapons are being used makes me ashamed to be an American.
Then you need to make your feelings known to your government, it's the only way they will change, by people who are voters telling them to stop.
It has to stop unfortunately Americans are complicit it's their government that's doing this it's American weapons paid for by taxpayers.

Along with Hani and Tariq she has been the face of this genocide for me and I worry about them all the time. I’m constantly told that I am ‘obsessed’ with the conflict, that nothing I do will make a difference, that it is bad dinner conversation, that it is offensive to my Jewish friends, that my so called obsession is unhealthy for me. To be silent and ignore the truth that we in the west are allowing and encouraging this slaughter is to abandon my humanity.
