Juno Masashige was the former protagonist of The Witch Trials. She was replaced by Keiko Masashige because of Juno's inconsistent characterization determined her irrelevance to the lore of The Mimic, including her disconnection from most characters.
Finally. Someone actually gets it. If you Dont understand What I meant, The protagonist of The Witch trials is Keiko (Yasu’s Mother, the one that chases you around at chapter IV Nightmare mode) And whoever Made this got it right! Also Im pretty Sure Keiko is 25 when the Witch Trials happened
@@senju317 it's because juno is not fit in the story it's like she appeared out of nowhere.... Keiko Masashige is perfect because she is a parent and she undestands and felt futao's feelings as a mother who lost her daughter hiachi. Keiko felt that and she need to protect yasu too. Unlike juno she is just a girl with anger issues and doesn't make sense in the witch trials. Also the the mimic origins story is no longer canon btw, so yea juno no longer canon and it got changed to keiko.. The lorewriter said juno will be reserved for the future in different story.
tbh i think juno fits more bc the house at start was juno's bc she moved out from the family house if they swap with keiko it dont make sense bc there house was revealed before witch trials and how would she be there if she and daku went to te school before chapter 3 theywere decived by kintoru and now keiko was locked in the basement for 30 days straight since they replace junou, witch trials start dont make sense juno will either be the protangonist of book 3 or 4 like if you agree
for every people who dont know how keiko got cursed it really gonna be when keiko saw futao she miht just ran but she saw mote then it might mote found her and kintoru/sama cursed keiko
That's what I wanted to do originally, but then I realized that Mote was in the final cutscene, so I swapped them. But maybe Mote, who is the impulsive side, became kind when she heard everything Keiko told her and wanted to help her. While Futao was still trying to kill her. And no, Mote is not a clone, just Futaomote's Caring and Impulsive sides got separated.

But the wiki says that keiko was 25 years old in witch trials and now she is around 56, that means witch trials happened way before book 1
