The Samurai killed u is Konoshichi If you burn all the cursed items it means you have freed him from Sama's curse and when you defeat Sama all the monsters will turn into (The monsters are from your previous lineage)
Here's the explanation why people turn into monsters:
This is from a long time ago:
The story goes that there was a girl named Hirachi who lived in a family with a mother (Futaomote) suffering from multiple personality disorder.
Personality 1: Good personality
In this personality she will love Hirachi
Personality 2: Violent personality
In this personality she will violently and brutally beat Hirachi
Due to domestic violence, Hirachi has no friends but then one day she saw a shadowy figure and introduced him to Sama.
Sama said he doesn't have any friends so Hirachi and Sama get along well
Then Sama persuaded her to break the seal (Red Cherry Tree) and promised a promise that when she broke Sama's seal, she would travel everywhere.
But Sama broke her promise and turned her into his minion
In the FutaoMote part, after talking about her illness with Sama, Sama asked FutaoMote to eat a butterfly soul and then she would become a normal person. But like Hirachi, FutaoMote was possessed and divided by the demon. She becomes 2 halves representing 2 personalities
