    I adore your color palette. It’s got a mid-century vibe and is vibrant and sensual.

    Another art epiphany from your channel Jackie!! ❤️ You are getting me closer and closer to painting...I'm an artist who has created in many mediums but ALWAYS avoided any type of painting...because I was SCARED 😱 of it!! It seemed to me that you had to know exactly what to do with the image and colors right at the outset...and I didn't know.
    But watching you and listening to your approach to exploring with paint has greatly encouraged me to Just Try!!🤩
    ..THANK YOU!!! (my word for your canvases/colors: authentic!!)

    I'm inspired by all the layers and textures. And now another layer just adds, and doesn't take away. And how you add and remove, and what that does. I learn a lot by watching your process! And...payne's gray is NEVER wrong LOL!

    The colors make me feel Like north africa, Sunset, desert, some of the paynes grey feels like a darks sand storm coming up, the patterns feel like some busy colorful city in northafrica, the light blue Like some oasis or ocean touching the desert. My feelings on your beautiful paintings. ❤

    this "assugment goal" is so very helpful! being a beginner, i have no idea what i'm doing. this idea makes my attempts at abstract art more objective & less self-critical.

    • @jackieschomburgart
      @jackieschomburgart  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes! The perspective shift towards completing an assignment really helps provide room for more objectivity and less judgement, doesn’t it? ❤️❤️❤️

    I dont love baby blue either! It reminds me of healthcare centers where I´m from so it´s more like a sick blue haha... That blue you are using is beautiful and it is a great touch among all the other colours. Your pieces always end up so sophisticated! I have much more practice to do to be able to reach this...

    • @jackieschomburgart
      @jackieschomburgart  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! ❤️ And yes, the nuances of light blue can be tricky - always better (in my opinion) to find a cheerful blue instead of a sad one 😆 Keep showing up - it really is a numbers game.

    I know this is a really sad question, but realized that i have watched and enjoyed all this work before and so much hope there is a follow up to this series?
    I love the landscapes sense, possibly australia or us desert in my mind. LOve most of the colour. Not the bright light blue, but the paynes is fantastic!
    I am a night time u tube junky and finds and even refinds like this are standouts.
    If there is no follow up, might u consider it?????????
    I have the feeling that this is something i could do that would take me into a new area.
    I Have just finished a solo challenge of 365 collages.
    So a new direction is somewhat appropriate!
    Best
    R

    love your pallet colors and your process. I haven't played with acrylic in years and my paints are really dried up. i need to invest in some new paint. could you share what brand and type of acrylic paint works well for this type of work. thank you! happy painting

    • @jackieschomburgart
      @jackieschomburgart  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you, Janet! It was some kind of produce netting, but I can’t remember if it was from oranges, lemons, limes, etc. ❤️

    Not at all my color combination, but I loooooooove the result 😍 (without the paynes gray, sorry). I’m sure to use these colors in the future and just now I even ordered fluorescent red 😅. Anyway I love to step out of my comfort zone because of the surprises you get and I always encourage my students to do that too. Thank you Jackie!

    Was thinking 'juicy' for a descriptive until you added the paynes grey :) Definitely not your usual palette, interested to see what shows up in the next installments. Inspiring as always to watch you work, Jackie -- some of us very much live in the 'I have to like this' world which is why what we make looks very much the same and what you make doesn't ❤🧡💛

    • @jackieschomburgart

    ha I've just re watched these three, as I consider doing something like this to get myself into art again. I couldn't tell you how long it's been since I did anything with paint - possibly over 12 months. Interesting to see that I was the last one to comment! I wonder if you have done anymore (or will do), or if you are done with them and moved on?

    I stopped watching this third part since you asked about the colors and the word or words that came to mind. For me it was at first a subdued vibrance, which morphed into just the right amount of vibrance, not necessarily subdued, but right in relation to the rest of the palette.
