I got to work faster, which means I was able to sell more stock, so it paid for itself 😂😂
Great video! A question for you, did you de chrome your door rails yourself? And if so, did you use one wide roll of vinyl or make strips for the top and side of the rails? Thanks!
Hi Matt, I ordered some rolls of black gloss tape - you can find it on eBay. I did the top and sides separately as it was easier to take any bubbles out.

Good to know thanks J! I’ve de chromed by window surrounds and am now looking to do the door bars. I can’t decide whether to do it or not as I use roof bars/box maybe a few times a year and I assume it could ruin the vynl
@@Exx-on I guess it could, I haven't used a roof box so can't be sure. I think the vinyl is pretty durable though.

Hi mate - what did you use to de-chrome your car and did you do yourself? Looks smart and most places I’m asking are wanting like £500 to de-chrome 😅
Hi Ben! I used some gloss black dechrome tape, can find some on eBay. If I remember rightly it may have been 3M branded. I did it myself, outside and on a windy day with no way to heat the tape to make it easier - so if you are able to do it inside with a heat gun you should find it pretty easy. Mines not perfect but does the job until I want to attempt it again. I bought wide tape because the rear side windows have a wider piece of chrome compared to the rest of the car!

@@Ben-hk9hc It's always worth giving it a go yourself, a squeege - or whatever it's called is ideal for flattening the tape.
@@JAYPCARS looks like some come as little kits so i might try that although I’m nervous about ruining the car 😆
@@Ben-hk9hc As long as you're careful with cutting the tape when on the car you'll be alright!

debating between this s4 or the 2.0tfsi 252 then remap it cuz of the extra s4 running cost and initial buying cost 😳

What did you buy in the end as I need to upgrade and am now questioning if I should really go for a S3/S4 seem way too expensive to run esp if I commute 3x to 5x a week 20 miles each way down the M1?
@@trsisko s3 was too small for me coming from a gtd, same platform, I went for the 252 A4 haven’t got it mapped yet, can’t complain it flys
what sort of mpg do you get on light motorway cruise around 70? and then just b road driving?
I’ve had 35 on the motorway, could probably get nearer 40 in efficiency and cruise control. B roads 15/20. Town driving barely 10 a lot of the time but it’s start stop

Long term mpg is 21 👍🏻

I can’t remember off the top of my head, but I’d guess around 8k a year at 20mpg average @£1.48/L (guessing the price back then) = ~£2700/£225 a month.
This video made me buy a Corolla.
