They aren't really too long for you, hiking pants are supposed to be loose around the ankles. Try wearing them over some Meindl boots and you will see why.
Love it so far. Hope it will serve me for a long time, since it was insanely expensive for hungarian wages but I bought it for my 40th birthday and wanted the best.
I wish I could afford about $200 USD for a pair of pants to see if they’re as great as ppl say they are. Except for 3 pair of other brands, all of my pants are KÜHL (along with jackets, hats, sweaters, shirts). They have lasted me up to a couple of decades (including an ALF sweater). Maybe one day if this retired senior wins the lottery I’ll try a pair of Fjallraven Abisko Lights.
Hi - agree they have a very high price tag and I did have to think long and hard about purchasing these. That said I’ve had a pair of Vidda Pros now for about 4 years and they are still in top condition; as good as the day I bought them. So over time I guess it’s an investment. I’ve had plenty of of other trousers that just didn’t hit the spot. KUHL - I’ve had a look at their gear and it definitely seems very good quality; just staring to get exposure in the Uk major walking outlets. Might take another look now; given your recommendation. Thanks for taking the time to comment. ATB Mark.
They're a superb brand Mark there's no disagreement there. I would purchase them - especially the hiker version if I had the money. As you say you pay for what you get and they would last. I have some Kuhl here though. Another food brand. Hope you get some good use out of these. Sure you will. All the best. Mark
Hey there, great review and great trousers. I have the same pair and love them, great for hiking and mobility. Also, I did have my length sized by Fjallraven at one of their outlets for free. They have a Taylor on site, no problem to the function. Fits perfect now. Although, I don’t think yours are too bad, but just wanted to let you know.
Hi Paul - firstly thanks for taking the time to comment much appreciated. Prefer these to my Vidda pros due to the stretch material and the zip vents; but to to fair also love my other pair. Interesting about the measuring service; Fjallraven have a flagship shop here in Manchester which is about an hour away. Id prob go for a short leg length next time; but these come on really handy as I tend to there them with full hiking boots or keeper boots so they go fully over the boots to give extra protection. Can’t beat Fjallraven for quality; off to Iceland in the New Year so these will def be in my suitcase. ATB Mark.
