The space is used so well and very well decorated you can't tell how small the space is. He did a good job decorating. I loved it.

most likely he is not paying for it himself. Probably his parents are paying for him to live there. Or his family own that apartment but cant rent it out at the moment so they let him live in it.

a financial analyst makes 80k on average across the US and NY is more expensive (and thus pays more) than average. he also probably has an MBA!

I would love to live in a place like this in the West Village! Having laundry, a separate bedroom (albeit small), A/C, and a washer/dryer all make this place great. Living in San Francisco I don't have sticker shock over the rent, but also wish that things in both cities were priced much lower so that, as an older person working in social services, I don't have to be so scared of not being able to afford anything moving forward!

I LOVE how people can make a small space so stylish. I recommend getting a product called The Sink Topper. It's perfect for small bathrooms with no counter space. I got mine on Amazon and now I can't live without it.
