The problem is, some people are separated from politics and some aren't. Me for instance, it didn't matter who won, my life was not going to be directly affected by it. A lot of people (women minorities ect) are directly affected by who wins. So to you it may seem like there is a separation of the person and the politic, it is very difficult for someone who is receiving a negative outcome from political action to not assign blame to the people who voted for it.
I get what your saying but for all the positive or negative things Trump may do, I won’t think that most of his supporters are bad people or think less of them for voting their mind, the same goes for Kamala voters. The issue I have is that it almost feels like a sore loser mentality where if you don’t support me then you are my enemy.
