Great video !!!! You demonstrated just what I was looking for. FYI, Honeywell per instructions, advises to remove gasket when replacing conventional lens to ADL but you've confirmed my thinking as to why you would want to eliminate the gasket. Thanks again!

Is it the same to swap out a lens on the tiger hood flip front?!

They have changed over the years I can look to see if we have one at work
but I believe it’s the non-flip big version lens that we have
but I’ll make a video if I can get my hands on one !!
for the most part they’re pretty similar they still do have a retainer clip usually plastic sometimes it’s made out of metal but the lenses come out through a side slot after the retainer is removed at that point you can change your lenses out some of them have the same set up as my pipeliner but yes it’s very similar set up depending on what year it was manufactured

They’re plastic ANSI rated but I got a 2000 pack on eBay for around 120$ about a year ago Just got to snag them up when ya see a good deal otherwise welding supplies have them for around 1$ .50$ each

The auto dark. Lens is arc one single 240 hd and the clear lenses are a standard 2x4 1/4 clear lens

У нас продают хрень а не маски, есть похожие варианты, но все ширпотреб (китайский), не в обиду китайцам, просто почему то в Америке даже к какой то маске, простой формы (это не современные шлемы как у железного человека с фильтром хамелион), просто такую маску не купить в России, а на сайтах стоимость больше 20 тысяч, но и поставок нет. Особенностей на много больше, если разбираться, не посвященным не понять, и тем кто не знает что это за маска подумают что и у нас такие же продают черные за 300 денег, но нет. Нет в свободной продаже даже белого оголовья, замки на оголовье другие, с металлическим болтом, материал масок интересный, типа углепластик, но звон металла, простая конструкция, и ретро дизайн, винтаж одним словом, отправляет в то время когда сварка только зарождалась!
