The bank needs to go through the process before your balance will show, see you can't activate the card without having any money in there

This process is too stressful & difficult. I HIGHLY recommend just getting a VISA Vanilla Gift Card. All you need is money & ofc pay the activation fee. I had to use my mom's info to activate this card which I grateful she did.

guys you need a social security number i used my dads and make sure to use their email and address or you might get in trouble for using someone else’s social security number and you need to activate it to use it so if you’re ordering something on amazon and it says revise payment it’s saying that because it’s not activated

So mine came with 2 cards the normal one and a cut up version with a different barcode number that I assume was scanned instead of the correct that was underneath it

The sad part is they charge you over 4 dollars to put $20 in the card and another 4 plus to keep your account open. And you can forget about transferring money from another account to this card because they don't allow that option.

I've called the number, also used the website, and I also went back to the walmart where i purchased to get help and they weren't much help. actually this is the only card that lets you use it without putting in your social.. you have to do it by phone thoe... the social is just to create an account and a personalized card ... i don’t put that info on these cards but green dot will not let you use it if u don’t give them your social

I bought this card thinking it was like a Visa gift card. Just call the number to activate. Should have read the directions. I had no idea you had to put your SSN in to activate it. I don't trust online anything when it comes to wanting my SSN. And there is no number to call. Must be done online. I guess I'm out $201. 😢
