My favorite board game café in Germany (and I live in Berlin, mind you) is "Würfel & Zucker" in Hamburg! Lovely owner and people working there, they explain the games to you, and their selection is huge! :)
Really interesting video! It's amazing that you guys create such outstanding content. Your channel isn't just about game reviews; it's about embracing the hobby, the lifestyle, and the people who share it. Thank you so much! p.s. In Ukraine we have also several cool board game clubs. For example Hobby Monster in Lviv.
If you ever happen to visit Tampere in Finland I can wholeheartedly recommend Bar Lategame, which has two floors and large selection of games, and Board game cafe Taverna, conveniently located near the train station. No language barriers because majority of the games are in English! Both cafes serve alcoholic drinks and beer.
We were on holiday in Denmark last summer, and i was really surprised how much boardgame-cafes they have! It looked liked almost every small town has one. It was like heaven for us.
My local cafe in a smaller canadian town is called "The Guild" and has a rancore head over the fire place and a board yo post dead DnD character sheets. Ovet a decade of great memories made thete
If you go to Strasbourg (France) one day, there is the "Schluck" which mean "A sip" in the local language. Really good beer and food an ton of games. They have a lot events, which propose one shot rpg or night where the boardgame are already in place and the waiters will explain how to play the game. Best bar in Strasbourg in my opinion
Ugh, I've got a business plan ready to go because I would love to start a board game cafe of my own! Finland has few but my city really has none, only some gathering spots where ppl play their own stuff. But getting the capital and/or a second person to start it with is the real challenge! Doing everything alone is really not feasible.
not sure everywhere is the same, but usually you need to do something else in addition to selling board games or card games. So renting space and offering food and drinks is one way, or selling oneline, or selling single cards from different TCGs.
@@Chris3s Yea, included in my plan is food and drinks with some game retail stuff on the side with the possibility of having some rental space for RPG players and such. I even started thinking about the menu lol, I love food so I had some ideas.

Janis wasn‘t very wrong - Berlin sometimes feels like something very special and different for Germans coming from other parts of Germany to visit the city.
We are blessed to have Bastard Café in Copenhagen. If anyone in this community are visiting Copenhagen and are looking for someone to play with, I would gladly play and show you the café. Also they have recently opened another café in the neighborhood Nørrebro and also one in the Valby neighborhood, although the one in Valby is a bit smaller than the original café in Rådhusstræde.
Thank you for visiting our store was lovely to have you! c:
Which one was yours?
@ dice saloon I work in the cafe

R’lyeh in Krakow must be mentioned. Cool place 🔥💀⚔️
So, there is no board game cafe in Riga? I love visiting them when travelling and probably will go there next year

Montags, 19:00, Clocktower?? Let's go!!!!
Does No Rolls Barred still film their episodes at Draughts?
I believe they do. I think they have a studio upstairs above one of them.
They used to but pretty sure they moved out to their own studio so the could film more content on their own schedule.
@ Shame. Would’ve loved to seen a collab.
Everyone's casually dropping their Taylor concerts these days on TH-cam... It's pure PAIN 🥴😭
swiftie gamers, assemble
Great Idéa for a video and you could make it an annual thing. If you like. =)
But what is it with boardgame cafées and greasy food? =P

T was just abiding by the AP Style Guide. You shouldn't say Germany after saying Berlin. Great unique video.
oh man, you dont play with drinks on the table, shame on you :)
this video shows that you really not visited much... so many good ones are missing!!!
Taylor Swift ? fml, and i thought these guys are cool
