honestly such a great video about the josh community, i feel like the reason why some people are upset with fearless 2 is because josh advertised it as his "return to form" and everyone was expecting a fearless type song, a disgrace type song, a blessed type song, but in reality we got a couple YNA sounding songs and a few lonely vibes sounding songs. i really like fearless 2 quite a lot but i think that is was mis-marketed quite a bit. the rumours of josh and jake beefing because they dont collab 5 times a year anymore is a stupid idea to me, it sucks how people starting to work on their own projects instead of collabing with people all the time = beef with this community. youd think its quite obvious that josh and jake arent beefing with each other considering the fact that when they started making less music together, they barely had any other features, like since the split, josh has collabed with justin stone, james lightner and just recently the 3 other features on dallas, while jake has only collabed with jordanxbell, magnolia park, and pseudo all in the span of 3 years. i personally overreacted with the whole josh and dan situation, obviously the whole situation is messed up but i have no place to say anything about it. overall, very good video. someone needed to talk about how this community kinda sucks now as quite a few people, including myself, have quietly distanced themselves away from the josh a community, despite being so into the community literally this time last year. 10/10 video
I'm not that involved with the community but from what I've seen, I agree with you. I like their songs but I don't need to know everything going on with their lives.
There are bad fans on all sides 🙄. been a fan since before disgrace and i got BASHED because i really liked fearless 2. some of them need to chill highkey.
bro am i the only one who listened to josh for 6 years and like his new stuff. or find it ok. i used to listen sm i was in 0.007% of listeners. now i listen to country but i still like josh as a person. i wish he would make more podcasts. speaking of podcasts i was in it as a comment respond under the name straight guy telling him to do country bc he said he wanted to. i would listen to that
great video! i just dont like community's in general. people join community's cause they wanna belong to a group, wich is normal. but if they dont fit in a community they will trash on them for no reason, just cause they dont "fit in" that specific group. comunity's can ruin the art that they have a comunity around, in this case its music. like they can just ruin a artist for me, wich is annoying, like people hating on serten artists and saying u dont know what good music is if u listen to that type of music is so sad. when I was younger those opinions effected me a lot. now i just dont go online and listen to community's. I like what I like and thats it
