I don't eat fast food or wear makeup, so I had no idea that fast food companies were putting out makeup lines until now. But, the phrase 'stay in your lane' has never seemed more apt. Also, as someone with a food allergy, a warming sensation in my lips right after tasting something would scare the .... out of me. Having said all that, this was a really fun episode and I definitely think that Team Theorist were the real winners.
I definitely think that the convenience store did better. But can we really just give the win to the 3 companaies that didn't suck? Rude cosmetics, the frosted flakes pallette, and whoever made velveeta's hair dye?

Thats how I feel too, not just with style theory, it feels like when Mat was hosting it was like 4 alt channels because it was the same host but now each channel feels uniquely different with their own vibe
Pastels, greens and blues shadows are normally the hardest to blend out just due to the way those pigments interact with eyeshadow formulas, they are hard to blend out in general, let alone with flimsy brushes
So happy that Lee finally got to appear in a Style Theory video! I forget if he's already had a cameo before but I love seeing him rock their new merch with everyone else! Whenever I set up a date with somebody I tell them not to wear cologne or perfume. I can't stand artificial smells. If you put some straight up real lavender oil on that would be fine. But not too many have that laying around
I absolutely hate cologne, perfume, and even the candles and stuff at places like bed bath and body works because they're too strong so honestly this is a question I wonder too. How are colognes and perfumes supposed to work and do they actually work?
We and our cats are huge fans of Jerika and are always so happy to see her in the Theorist videos. Love that she and Head Editor Dan have been in more of the Theorist videos lately, especially here in Style Theory. Amy and Santo's rapport is such a treat to watch and it was super nice seeing all the hosts modelling (and rocking) the new merch!

Why buy expensive Sephora brushes when I don’t know if I can use a brush or not, so why not buy a cheaper one to practice with? Have I just been victim to this one brand all these years without knowing?!?
I actually have Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, Dunkin’ Donuts, and Cool Ranch Doritos branded eye shadow palettes. The chip brands were actually pretty nice while I didn’t have great feeling about the Dunkin’.

You shouldn’t pull your eye while doing eye makeup! It can cause wrinkles/damage and distort the image. And the I’ve seen the ELF palette look decent with proper techniques and primers, and everyone that uses makeup a lot knows that shimmer shadows are often best used with a finger on primer.
I bought a sour patch kid themed caboodle recently and it came with 2 sour patch nail polishes, sour patch lip balm and sour patch lip gloss, and sour patch eyeshadow. Not the best haul ive ever acquired but worth it for that fly neon green old school caboodle!
please PLEASE hear me out the coca cola eyeshadow palette has lots of bold pigmented neutrals and reds great brushes and the lipsticks are amazing its a real winner
Did you remember to wet the sponge first & squeeze out the excess water before using it with your foundation? This keeps the sponge from absorbing all your product and allows you to spread it across your face more easily. Also, I was taught primer gross first, hence why it's called "primer" and sunscreen is the last step not the first.
youre right about the sponge but sunscreen does go before primer since its skincare and not makeup. skincare goes first (wash face, put on toners/serums/lotions/suncreen), and makeup begins after that. primer is the first step of the makeup portion. *some* sunscreens *sometimes* can go on at the end though, like mists, but a sunscreen lotion would just ruin the makeup.
This was such a interesting video. When I was little I got a 3 pack of soda lip balms. Mountain Dew, Coke and Root Beer. I LOVED the Mnt. Dew one so much because of the smell. I used that one so much. But I didn't grow up on drinking Mnt. Dew. When I had soda it was mostly Root Beer. Now as an adult my go-to soda is Mnt. Dew.

Typically these brands are collabing with existing brands. So it’s more like a makeup brand slapping some food themed branding on their makeup.
