The competition offers strong products, I don't find them inferior, but I found DJI to be more refined, stepping up so to speak. But as always, the key to getting the right shots is dependant on the the space between the ears ;)
Its so wild to think turning off the in camera IBIS would assist in smoother footage... I always have micro jitters and slight movements that create these little micro movements and I ALWAYS thought it would be the gimbal, not the camera????? I have to try this, and let you know if this is the same for me! Thanks for shedding some light in that direction, I appreciate your perception and guidance! STAY BLESSED!!!
This thing is wild. I used it for the first time and I couldn't believe how sharp the image was. I guess that so the micro gitters really help to degrade the quality. I am so excited to continue to use this. Mine also came with the raven eye which is super exciting
Pro tip, that DJI riser that goes on the camera, always comes loose, and the camera swivels. Buy the small rig DJI plate, fits straight on the slider, sits your camera lower and no swivelling! ❤
Err 70!!! After using sometime DJI gimbal with Canon EOS R5, R6, and R6 Mark II, I’d Err 70 problem with DJI RS2, RS3, and RS4 pro. I've had four Canon repairs and five camera body fails. Err 70 shows up on the screen as connect to the DJI Gimbal, and sometimes there is no error however the camera completely freezes! I'm finally switching to another Brand gimbal because my experience with the DJI gimbal has been awful!
That doesn't make sense to me. Err 70 is a canon error. How is the err 70 related to the gimbal? I've used the R5 R5 II and 70D on Zhiyun and DJI and never received err 70.
@@OrdinaryFilmmaker It's great, Gimbal, I don't want to leave DJI. But that is precisely what I thought it was simply a Canon problem, but I knew Err 70 only came with DJI RS series gimbals, even use the included cable or Bluetooth to connect!
Ahh. I never use the cable other than during testing. I like to keep things simple. I just press record on the camera and only use the gimbals for stabilization. That could be why I don't have any troubles ;) Try without using one cable for a while and narrow down what is causing the err 70.
I don't like the vertical mount as you have to have it high up for best calibration but can't get it to 100% balance. They said they're working on engineering it for the next one.

Dji is really the standard. It's like Pioneer in the DJ space.

And yet they require to use their stupid app to use the item that you purchased. Plus you have to side load it, which is fishy as heck.
@@KinaestheticDmawnot really, seems like you never used one before
I rarely used the app. I mostly enjoyed using it without the focus motor and wires - using the basic gimbal functions.
Videographers have all the cool toys! Great video.
That you Scott
I would love to see more behind the scenes videos of your work!!
More to come!

You're welcome. I always forget to turn off IBIS. Let me know how it looks after you try turning it off.
The timing on this is perfect. Mine rs4 pro just came in last night
That will give you a payload of 10 pounds instead of 6,6 lbs Roy

Always nice to get a new toy :) I can't wait for the 50 f1.4 in a week or two.
Hi Simon, indeed huge steps in usability are being made !!

I might just do that ;)

@@OrdinaryFilmmaker The Bluetooth connection is very useful on the RS4. It connects to the R5 always automatically, after you made the setup.
Thanks for bringing that up. I tend to shoot without the cables. Just a bit old school here ;)

Weebill Series are not DJI product .
3rd comment, damn I'm early lol. All jokes aside "Lifetime warranty" has always been a scam.
How is this relevant? They don't offer a lifetime warranty... They have a one-year or two-year plan.

Oh yeah.. that and sometimes I post a comment and it doesn't get written ;)
@@OrdinaryFilmmaker Seriously, what is going on over at Google for TH-cam to be so buggy like this?. 😅
Not sure, but I have notice if I am using the laptop, it happens a lot, but if I am using the much faster desktop, it never happens... Bizarre.
