@@RandomGolfClubFilms This would be ambitious and probably couldn't be filmed at the same time as your round, but I was imagining that a majestic drone flyover of each hole would really add to your descriptions that you're giving as you start each hole. I know, I know... that's a lot of extra work, but anytime you incorporate that dreamy aerial footage into your videos, it is pure magic.

This is what I want a course vlog to be. Every shot, the views, discussion of greens and course features and plenty of the mental game as the round progresses. Will consume as many of these as you're willing to create, even if it's the same course multiple times.

You know the feeling when you’re on hole 15/16 where you know the round is coming to an end, I start to get sad that the round is almost over, but happy to have experienced the game no matter how I’m playing. Strange enough having not played for two months watching this was the first time I’ve felt that in a long time. I just didn’t want it to end. Anyone else?

Hey Erik! I left a comment on your last video talking about how much I wanted to play golf, even I wouldn't play well. You replied with "Put down the scorecard, and have fun", and I just wanted to let you know how much that helped me! I play in the front yard of my house with a pitching wedge, and a 60 degree so I don't hit it into the road, and your words helped me relax a lot more, and I started seeing immediate improvement. Hopefully my parents can fulfill my high school graduation wants and let me play a round at a course here soon. I've only played on a course twice so I'm really hoping :) I just wanted to say thanks! Keep up the great content, and enjoy those adventures in golf (pun intended)

I love that you took that to heart. My goals are really to help people enjoy the game of golf, and to laugh at the bad shots. Try looking at a twilight round. It's the best time of day (I think), and a lot of courses have cheaper prices starting around 3-5pm. In the meantime, keep up the great work in your yard, and I'm sure you'll get out on a course soon.

Walking Rustic for second time tomorrow - first 10 years ago - and nervous about keeping up pace of play, so this is very useful for plotting out a strategy to avoid trouble - and ball search delays. Thanks, and please make more of these around SoCal. Playing new courses, the apps usually don't show slopes that can ground-hook into hazards, so funner to start with a better game plan.

@@RandomGolfClubFilms I did, to be honest I don't have a preference I thought they were both entertaining and informative. I like the pre-shot breakdown and shot tracing.

Hi Erik, would be awesome if you made series about putters. I have found that many people collect putters with the same philosophy as vintage watch collectors. Dings and scratches on putters, just like on watches tell a story. It's the one golf club in a bag that doesn't get replaced as often and can last a lifetime if taken care of. It would be cool to see content based on different people talking about their putter like the Hodinkee talking watches. Jordan Spieth has been playing his scotty for ages... just throwing it out there. Would be a great to see your twist on this! have a good one!

This is an amazing course vlog. I love the voice-over. I love the shot-tracer, as well as your thoughts behinds each shot. I would love to see more of these in the future!

EAL, I love these course vlogs. Can’t wait for more. If I could however, make 1 small suggestion? With the hole map on the right, leave it there and add in a marker of where your ball landed.
