For the first time I am observing that even South Asian immigrants are fed up with Trudeau.
They are WHY we have Trudeau in power. Most of the country did not vote for him. It was Toronto and the GTA that did. They have completely taken over Brampton, which is entirely Liberal. No matter which party is elected in that city, it will be a South Asians representing South Asian interests. They are a foreign group trying to advance their interests in our country, and what they want most is more of their people here to do that, which means more immigration. They figured the Liberal party was the best way to do that. The government is importing nations that covet what they could not create themselves.
I am an international student from East Asia, been here for just a few years and I am already fed up with Trudeau as well.

Imean why didn't the BLOC QUBECOIS rally behind the anti NDP LINERAL platform and assist the Conservatives with a no confidence motion against the HIGH SCHOOL DRAMA instructor? Brampton? Now even North East Calgary and Surrey are fast transforming into BRAMPTONS OF THE WESTERN CANADA. Problem is Canadians are too much PACIFISTS to march forward for justice.

how about halting immigration until the country is fixed, I never heard PP mentioning this. Our country is broke, we can't afford any more immigration until we get back on our feet.
As much as I agree with shutting down immigration PP may not be stating his position that due to how controlled our media by the Left. They would blast he's a racist up until the election to drive votes away from the conservatives.

We need him in office now, i am a first generation immigrant and I think Canada should put a freeze on immigration and foreign aid to fund healthcare, housing, education which has gone down the drain.
I am a social liberal but prefer conservative economic/immigration and crime related policies. I am seeing whats happening in California and dramatic level of immigration in a short turn. I came back 15 years ago myself but I could assimilate because I was able to. Conservative voting here.

need to send back 900k students who came here for PR and not for education. The govt should pass a law student permits not to be converted to work visa and subsequently to PRs. There should be a ban on such conversion for atleast next 5 years and all who came after covid need to go back after completion of their education

@@WizardHarry69 I am also an immigrant and I am a person who is pro immigration but at the moment where our immigration policy is disaster. Plus we can’t boycott those businesses because they are everywhere in every grocery store, Gas station, Fast Food franchises. So it is next to impossible and it’s a bit racists too to do this. It's not Trudeau's fault. You have to research what caused this. This has been a global problem since Pandemic. Nobody could've prevented this chaos. Covid, Russia/Ukraine war, Israel-Hamas War, Rise of China, North Korean Threats, Iran/Houthis attack on shipments. Poilievre is simply blaming Trudeau for all of this when that's not true. Poilievre is a hypocrite. He criticizes Trudeau for his scandals. But Poilievre defended Harper's Scandals when he was Parliament Secretary. Poilievre refuses to answer Reporter's questions. Poilievre blames Trudeau's spending on inflation which is NOT true. Inflation is caused by Russia/Ukraine war, global supply issues. Despite how much Poilievre WHINES, the fact is Canada has lowest inflation rate in G7 countries. I am sure Poilievre would have handled all of this much worse than Trudeau because Poilievre is clueless. He is only good at complaining, criticizing. He has no plans or solutions.
My vote goes to you. Trudeau is a mess.
That was a real interview for a change, I believe that Pierre keeps his cards close to his chest but we do need a real plan to move forward and not just the idea of ideal results from a change in government. I still endorse P.P. regardless because he has a intellectual team behind him but less lawyers and more business minded cabinet ministers would help.
Ukraine is not Canada’s problem . Hammas or Israel is not Canadas problem. Let’s focus on Canada .

ALSO, the Canadian government gave about $30,000 a year allowances to the Syrian refugees. In 2023 last year about $769 Million dollars of our Canadian federal Tax money was spent on hotels, meals, etc. for refugees and illegal immigrants staying here in Canada! Also on the Canada ca government website it explains Canada has given a total of about $1.8 Billion dollars to Haiti. That is only one country, Canada is giving free money to countries all around the world. >>Yes you are correct that the government has very, very poor priorities! I saw him address this topic but I didn't catch all he said. He did say something about making it easier for doctors that are licensed in other countries to practice here.

As someone who left Canada 5 years ago and had lived on and off in Canada for 20 years before that, I completely disagree with Poilievre. Canada was never a utopia and was a shit show long before Trudeau came along. The cost of living crisis is occurring not just in Canada; it's bad in Australia, New Zealand and in Europe. If everywhere else was the land of milk and honey and Canada was doing badly then I could agree with Poilievre. I feel it has more to do with "peak oil" and the "energy crisis." I recently took a photo of a wedge of watermelon that had a $16.00 price tag on it and sent it to my friends in Canada. I'm in New Zealand. Even they felt sorry for me. I feel that the best time to be the so-called "middle class" in Canada and the United States was in the 1950's. I doubt we'll ever be able to purchase a house for $8,000.00 ever again. One thing that Commonwealth countries have in common is allowing non-citizens [usually Chinese] to purchase property they would never live in to get citizenship. Poilievre talks about getting houses built. Houses are already available, they're sitting empty because of foreign investors. He should go after Airbnb and ban its use in Canada. I've heard of some people owning up to 20 properties and making small fortunes. Government falls short in many key areas. IMO both Trudeau & Poilievre are cherry-picking which issues to tackle and avoiding the obvious solutions. If Poilievre gets elected to PM, he'll just become another version of Trudeau. The only difference is that he's painting a Norman Rockwell image of Canada which he'll never be able to deliver.

His explanation on Ukraine is flawless. Putin is not going to back down or negotiate for peace until he is beaten. Russia is still staying afloat financially because they’re selling their gas into Europe. We have huge reserves of gas in Canada which can be easily liquified in our cold climate and shipped to Europe. This could cripple Russia and we’d make money at the same time. All we need to do is build LNG plants (Trudeau and his eco terrorist squad have opposed them).

Well I have just filed my taxes and the government didn’t even deduct my rent, also my medical bills and they are asking me to pay $3500/- I have been working 5 nights. Is this right I am 74 years old still working afraid of being on the streets if I don’t have a place to live. How could the government help me.

I am going to vote for Mr Pierre next year. When I came to Canada, things were much better than the current situation. I wish many other people vote for him as well. I never imagined Canada would be in shambles. I know it would take time to clean the mess, but I believe Mr Poilievre would be leading Canada to its past glory..
