- So a fox mask
I see a lot of people struggling with this shape, and now I see why. It was quite tricki with those more basic materials. I'm not satysfied 100% with it, and for sure will make another one (cross fox maybe?) But for now I'd like to tackle some different animals.
I already painted this one, and it looks so cool, I can't wait to show you honestly, but nah, I'll restrain myself and post it next week, so I have a steady flow of content 😅

I started to make materal lists down there and always put there some extra info or just some rambling about the project. I'll also update it with answers to some questions that appear a lot. I don't feel ready to start talking on video, so when I have something more to say, I just put it in the descriptions

Do you have any tips for making masks realistic?
I'd say painting is the thing. You can kinda see that on my binturong mask video. Even if the shape of the mask isn't that realistic, diluting the paint, making a lot of gradients and light strokes makes the mask look way more realistic than doing clean, sharp, bold markings
Quite a unique and interesting idea would be to make a badger or maybe a Tasmanian devil

Definitelly sharp knife 😅
I'd just draw the shape I want for the eye, cut it out with a skalpel or a small box cutter, and finnish it up like a normal eye, with mesh and everything

Trigger warnings are for stuff that is/can be genuenly disturbing/triggering for someone, not for everyday items. Using tw for a box cutter is a mockery of people who have issues like that. As a person who needs multiple trigger warnings, this comment is just bit insulting
