This is great, lived in Tennessee nearly all my life & never really just walked around on Broadway. So now I get to see what I've been missing! Nashville is awesome. I was there for 4 days. I loved it and the neighboring suburbs. If real estate prices ever come down, that’s the area I would move to in a heartbeat!

I’ve been going to Nashville multiple times a year since the 80s . Stayed there a couple months ago. Still stop there and pigeon forge every few months.

It IS currently hot as hell in Nashville (per Alexa almost 100 degrees EEK). And from much 1st hand experience there it is always wring your clothes humid there!!! My 4th was putting my feet up & relaxing, but heading out to fireworks in about an hour!!! We hoped to catch the local ones on our way home from Chinese food last night, but they started them early GRRRR. Luckily tons of options today. None of us feel like dealing with the Boston traffic, but the town next to mine is said to do a good job. I've only seen them from a rooftop, so will see. SO glad you are here to experience an American 4th of July (still think you should have come to Boston....although you have to get to the Esplanade at dawn to get in now). The reading of the Declaration of Independence at the Old State House can be moving. (done for the last 243 years!) PS I liked the Bougie hat on Nadine. I don't know how long before the ranch BUT I'm sure Broadway in town is charging at least double or triple what most stores would. Tourist traps are VERY real and VERY expensive!!
I lived in Nashville for ten years. I loved walking down Broadway and 2nd Street where the Wildhorse Salloon is. I only left Nashville to take care of my mother 3 hours away. It is a great town & dont forget to eat at the Mexican restaurants there - they are all so good and a bargain! Most fahita dinners are so big - really a dinner for 2 people!! 2 platters would feed your family! Enjoy!!❤❤❤
@@yournewzealandfamily That first little raw straw hat she tried on was AWESOME! She looked FANTASTIC in that smaller hat! Those are the types I prefer. Depending on the state, we call them “outlaw hats.” Not so tall, not so wide, and very comfortable to wear.
I'm just a couple hours south of Nashville and this whole area of the country is a little hotter than normal for this early in the year. We've been in an unusual weather pattern for the last few weeks. Having said that, I'm SO happy you guys are getting to celebrate Independence Day here in the States, and especially in a good Southern state!
