Got to meet the man himself at Toccoa, GA. He told us a story of having to run Currahee Mountian every morning while locked up in the brig. 3 miles up 3 miles down. Jake was cool as hell. It was an honor to talk with him. My buddy picked up a picture of the war paint photo signed by those men, who were able to sign it. Currahee, Stand Alone.
The Fat Electrician is one of my favorite TH-camrs. Always has an amazing story about a vehicle, weapon, or person that blows your mind. I'd also recommend watching his videos to the end because he almost always adds something at the end.
That "chirp" noise that he stopped and looked up at was the sound our smoke alarms make when the batteries need changed. He did it as a punchline right after saying "hero's always change their battery in the smoke alarm on time"
Did you ever find a copy of his book? If not, give me an address and I will send you one. As a combat veteran of the US Navy, Jake McNasty and the filthy thirteenth are legends to us. His book is awesome.

Thanks guys , we love you too !
How does Nick know all this? Well, he's former military personnel himself and loves history. Does most, if not all his own research.
I've been watching his stories about a year now, and I can promise you all that they never EVER get old! I'll send y'all a link or two more because (trust me!!!), he has SO many more wild stories he's found and not only from American military history; buy crazy events from other nationa; as well.
Just found your channel today and enjoying your reactions, thus far.

Never heard this story before. Thanks for sharing it.
Love the fact he says “he changes the battery in his smoke detector” and then HIS smoke alarm chirps at him! Lol
One reason the 82nd got in trouble in that town is my pap. He stole farmers' livestock to feed his boys.
Thank you for keeping all swears in.. It makes the video so much better!
Hell yeah love the Texas Rangers hat!
I live about 25 mins from the stadium
I watched this on my big screen Jake needs a movie, o wait they made rambo lmao😂😂😂
yall are fun to “ story watch “ with - cheers from Texas
The Fat Electrician is one of my favorite TH-camrs. Always has an amazing story about a vehicle, weapon, or person that blows your mind. I'd also recommend watching his videos to the end because he almost always adds something at the end.
A perfect fighter is never a perfect soldier.
That "chirp" noise that he stopped and looked up at was the sound our smoke alarms make when the batteries need changed. He did it as a punchline right after saying "hero's always change their battery in the smoke alarm on time"
Thank you for sharing this amazing story
You all should do polls on which ones to watch next, there are so many good episodes
Hello from N. California ✋ ... Got butter? 😆
You guys HAVE to watch the episode on Sam Whittemore it’s the best!
I have an uncle that was killed in WWII in Normandy the day before the war ended. He was 18 years old. He is buried in France.
Did you ever find a copy of his book? If not, give me an address and I will send you one. As a combat veteran of the US Navy, Jake McNasty and the filthy thirteenth are legends to us. His book is awesome.
