This was my engineering professor in college, glad to know he’s a beast on the bike and at teaching

The luge is super easy if you go slow. There a few small rock drops to watch out for but that’s about it. As for the exposure you don’t notice it much when you riding down. This trail is always well maintained too.

LOL...I first rode the Luge on my hardtail. It's way more fun and less scary with full suspension...Great video, I just found your channel.

Thanks for the video. A lot of the vids on this trail are of expert level dudes who just speed down this, but now I feel more comfortable to finally try it out

Thanks for this realistic video. It gave me a much better sense of what it would be like if I rode this trail, not someone with better skills than I have.

Bro you have great natural energy on video ,
We dumped our full sus and built up slacked out enduro hardtails to ride SoCal trails , defo makes them more interesting !
Since you ride road as well you probably dig longer rides ,
Try Monroe truck trail in Glendora , 6/7 miles climb and back down , flow fast and exposure
    Stay safe .

Rode the trail back in 1989 on rim brake bikes (GT RTS-1) and back then, not many people knew about it and it was WAY more raw. Still fun today though but much faster.

Yeahhhhhh I think I'm gonna stick with road riding. Mad props to mountain bikers who do this regularly.
A friend of mine took me mountain biking back in 2014 for the first time. Unknown to me, they took me to a trail with some black diamond sections. I was on a Trek Hard Tail while they rode Full Suspensions. I decided then that I wasn't set for mountain biking as they laughed at me pushing the bike up a rocky hill with 20 inch lips. I'm still scared of mountain biking, even though I know the trail they took me to is harder than normal.
Over the years, I've seen my friend get stitches, ER visits, various broken bones, rattlesnake encounters, unfortunate encounters with cacti, etc.
