Mitsubishi Triton 2021 Wheel Change Guide! Downsizing to 16" Wheels

Mitsubishi Triton 2021 comes with 18" stock wheels (wheel size may be different depending on the spec). Downsizing to 16" wheels can create problems if you don't pay attention because the brand new Triton equipped with bigger brake calipers compared to previous gen.

Hello Jeff. I have a Hilux 2.4 with 265/65/17 tyres. And the rims are 17'. I wish to change the rims to 16' and with proper tyres. The question is, do I need to lift up the car? I am not in favor to lift up because I love the standard height😅

Hey mate! Does this include the GLS model? I believe it has bigger brakes and my only fit 17" rims 👎

How's it going James? Did you come across any smaller rims that fit the GLS? I was at the 4x4 show on the weekend and the guys at one of the tyre stands reckoned there was only ONE aftermarket rim available in 17" that would fit on the GLS! Would be interested to hear your experience.

@@andrewford80 there are a number of 17" rims that fit mate! Only one steelie that I know of but a few alloy rims do! 16" are not doable though in any style I don't believe
