Vagrant Counting Song of Retrospection: "Beta" Mix

I made this two years ago, and am only just now posting it!
Back in 2016, not long after Kirby Planet Robobot was released, three clips of some beta versions of "Vagrant Counting Song of Retrospection" were posted to the game's official Japanese website. They more than likely weren't meant to be played together in this exact way, but I wanted to see what an earlier version of this song may have sounded like.

This version is much more terrifying than the original, it makes the whole fight seem much more empty, which I feel is the perfect representation of how the battle is.

Kinda sounds like a piece of Adaptive music. (Something like what Pikmin/Paper Mario Origami King does)
This sounds like a piece which would be used in the part between Star Dream's attacks, only to transition into the full normal song during its attack phase.

Compared to the "final" version, this feels... empty. Strangely even more empty than Intermezzo Without A Leader/Virtual Space Manipulator. It's as if the song is stitched together but full of holes without anything to fill them... which is oddly satisfying and fitting if you think about Soul OS instead of just the base Star Dream.

Reminds me of the tone from the title, Soul OS's first inner phase, and even Intermezzo'. It could've been designed this way to keep closer to the empty feeling, but changed to fit a final boss. However, that's of course just one theory. Another: maybe this was more like a blueprint than a finished version?
