That's one reason i loved the stadium series so much is how they tried their best to make the pokemon sound realistic as possible wish they would of done this in colesseum and XD too
I wish there was a threequel of the Pokémon stadium games, with the 3rd generation of pokemon. They would be so popular. (It should probably be on the switch since it’s one of the newest Nintendo consoles)
@@theStridingRebel pokémon coliseum and XD were the successors to Stadium, however they took a much different direction due to featuring an entire story attached to the battle modes, the coliseum mode worked very much like stadium but it was limited in comparison due to how much of the game the story took up, so they added Mt. Battle as an endgame of sorts to progress all the way to the end.
These sound so interesting, much more better then the current gens. I wonder why gamefreak didn’t reuse these. Still I never heard of such cries that sound cool, interesting and a little bit... scary?
They used Blue Jay cries for the Chikorita and Spinarak evolutionary line, as well as Octillery and Skarmory and lion sounds was used for Typhlosion and Entei. The owl sounds were fitting for Hoothoot and Noctowl and the crow sounds for Murkrow worked as well.
steelix sounds very cool almost all of his cry interpretations are cool well except for his gen 2-5 one i couldn't tell a difference between it and tentacruel other than it being longer
Im gonna catch heat for this but I feel like they fumbled a good number of these cries. Like the Cyndaquil line, Spinarak line, Aipom, the Eeveelutions, Wobbafet, Gligar, Scizor and the beasts. Like most of the cries are interesting interpretations are but these ones in particular, I feel did not capture the spirit of these mons.

Death metal maniac
@@Zombie5675 yes even death metal guys enjoy pokemon lol
Chikorita, Bayleef, and Meganium's cries always made me think of the birds cawing in the opening of Banjo-Tooie
Well both games were on Nintendo 64 soooooo...
Also Majora's Mask.
0:05 Megaium: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They are actually blue jay calls
@@enzob9793 Indeed! I hear them at home all the time.
After Nine Years I've Finally Found Cries From This Game With No Music. Thank You Sr. Bullet Bomb
how did he rip them so clean
Honestly, it sounds better and more realistic than the ''remaster crias'' they made in Gen 6.
3:22 porygon2 sounds so cute
Totodile actually does sound like a real life baby crocodile. Points for that
and feraligatr actually sounds like a gator when you think about their motorboat bellowing sound
0:30 This is what Noctowl would sound like in the Pokemon anime.
How have I never heard these before?! They're wonderful!!!
.....wonderfully horrible?
Probably because of the announcer?
Flatzone Gen 2’s Stadium cries are far better than Gen 1’s
@Suba Nighthack I agree. Stadium 1 relied a little too heavily on elephant calls 🐘
2:20 still one of my favorite cries of this series.
Just sounds so cool and intimidating.
Ikr
Hoothoot and Noctowl sounds like actual owls
And Mareep, Flaaffy, and Amphoros sound like actual sheep, despite Amphoros looking considerably less Ovine than it’s preevolutions.
1:12 is one of my favorites
Made me almost spit out my water
Same
0:12 typhlosion and 2:19 steelix are my favorites.
Good job getting such clean rips on these.
These sound beautiful! Always loved Sudowoodo's cry. Kind of sounded like was always saying his name. They all sound real and not digitized!
I love Ho-oh and Lugia cries! ❤
These cries are way more better than the updated cries...
3:22 love porygon2’s cry
Thank you for this!!
I like Skarmory and Lugia's cries.
1:55 this got me dead 😂
2:02 Honestly my favourite one.

@@theStridingRebelIt is depressing the number of fans that still haven't... Colosseum was goated
Dophan sure does sounds like a real elephant 3:20
This is why i have a Noctowl... so majestic.

A lot of them use that one N64 bird noise.
1:14 is that Blossom's favorite Pokemon
I always wanted to create my own Pokémon Stadium tournaments using modern games on the Switch.
The magic of modifying and pitch-shifting stock animal sounds to create Pokemon cries.
I wonder when they make Pokémon Stadium 3 what Lucario, Zekrom, Greninja or Cinderace sound like
What if The Powerpuff Girls had Pokemon Team
Favorite cries:
1:40
3:30
3:07 and 2:32 and 2:35 and 2:30 and 3:35
All these years I did not know about these sounds
It sounds like they only used a handful of samples that were played back differently. That’s why a lot of Pokémon sound like birds.
This is actually a great interpretation of the cries, I like these more than the Pokken anime voices, but maybe they wouldnt fit pokken's character
Skarmory is pure gold
That Remoraid under Mantine' s wing reminds me of Gold 's Pokemon glider in the adventures manga
Aipom sounds so cute
These cries should really make a comeback, along with the other gen pokemon getting their own specific cries as well.
this
this is where pokemon peaked
The cries of Pokémon in a side game?
@@chippedgoat yes literally this
2:19 Steelix 🫣 who knew my childhood nightmare would become my favorite to use throughout all Pokemon games

1:22 Sudowoodo
These are how Pokémon should sound, not that saying their own names crap. Imagine if real life animals did that.
human human human human human human
he actually says sudowoodo
I wana hear this in the new generations
Im suprised there isnt a pokemon stadium (and 2) cry quiz for these sound effects
Why does ampharos remind me of age of empires 2 sheep sound
Can u please upload the snoring sounds of Pokémon when they sleep? Thanks.
I love all of these, but Kingdra and Ho-Oh's cries never really resonated with me in this game :(
Ampharos and Kingler as well
Repeating numbers 1:11 2:22 3:33
Ampharos, snubull, smoochum
3:31 hitmontop
¿Porque la línea evolutiva de chikorita hace como águila?
Ho-oh sounds so cute in this game
Wow alot of these are the same samples , just very slightly pitched up or down
Yup. The original cries are like that too with some even being exactly the same like Rhyhorn and Charizard
steelix sounds very cool almost all of his cry interpretations are cool well except for his gen 2-5 one i couldn't tell a difference between it and tentacruel other than it being longer
Porygon2 sounds like Miku stubbed her toe
I love how Miltank's is a moo!
3:06
1:32 Chocobo?
3:00
why didn't they use this in Sword and sheild
oh wait
These have way too much quality to be on SS
Mental Man
They didn’t even use these in X/Y. I’d argue they could have had these as early as Generation 4.

Why does typhlotion sounds like a t rex
It's a lion's roar actually.

Hey does anyone know on here what program they used to make this?
Stock sounds
@ but how do the manipulate the stock sounds to sound like Pokémon cries from from the real word, i guess is what I’m asking…….
How is it possible to record these?
its either mouse squeeks, bird chirps or elephant noises
This game made a bunch of paradox cries before paradox. Pokémon existed.
01:40 WHAT'S THAT ANIMAL!?
Sunflora is a sunflower
Sudowoodo sounds a bit like Birdo
They should have done these in X & Y.
Pokemon, but half of the pokemon make birb sounds.
This is so stupid! Why won't Game Freak just use these?!
Because that requires effort.
Sr. Bullet Bomb
And yet they did their own remixed cries for the sixth generation, most of which are inferior to these.
I don’t like half of these tbh

Why does everything sound like a demented bird??
The only one that stood out as really odd is Octillary sounding like a bird.

Starting to think they foreshadowed Ampharos' mega with this cry.
