Good comparison lads! I've had my Campmaster stove for about 2 years and can confirm its starting to fall apart, the frame of the jet part has cracked and the igniter has fallen off as well. For the money its 100% worth it and would buy it again, but as the saying goes "The poor man buys twice".

It's amazing , how much attn is put on these Hi priced Water Boil (isoButane fuel ) cook sets ..
    The Pros :
    1) Boil Faster than a camp fire. (If you have no patience to wait for a boil, this system is excellent, under 4 min compared to a relaxing twig stove 10min. )
    2) suppose to be efficient with (paid) fuel.
    3) because of the quick water boil time (3min) it will work at hi altitudes, and water does boil faster at higher altitudes..
You will need more fuel, when longer cooking at higher altitudes.
    The Cons :
    1) Cost is Hi, for this system (canada = $160- $300 depending on the accessories you get)
    2) Bulky for the back pack. Takes up alot of real estate space in your hiking.
    3) Heavy system to carry around (371 grams/ 1 lb / 13 ounces) + 8$ Jetpower fuel canister 100g
    4) Your limited to buying their systems attachment accessories.
    5) Very loud
    6) Have to carry around a fuel system (isobutane fuel) / Jetpower fuel canisters
    7) not effective at certain low temperature environments.
    8) If you break a component on the system, or loose an attachment ...your screwed..
    9)

Love your work buddy, keep it up, we have just started our TH-cam journey, its a real learning curve, I decided to get a little bit of merchandise, a bit premature I know, but got excited, big mistake I seem to have made was getting here in Oz, I got a few hats with our logo and was mega disappointed, the logo is not much bigger than a 50c piece so if you have any tips on where to get quality merchandise at a good price I would be very grateful.

Like all cheap vs expensive comparisons I’d love to see the condition of the cheap one after 2 years plus of solid use and traveling around in back of 4wd. I find a lot of the time the cheap versions of anything work really well initially. I won’t skimp on stuff anymore after finding out the hard way a few times

@@dadsandladsoutdoors I usually go for a brs stove and a toaks 550 pot for backpacking. When I’m less worried about weight and size, a snow peak 750 and a pocket rocket. I like the regular pots because if I get up to elevation, and/or temps drop significantly, I can always throw them in a fire without the need to take off the sleeve or worry about melting the lid lol.
