Agreed, but it seems Impossible. All conductors are connected at the same time by one relay. Although the function switch to 1/3 phase is available in the Modbus list. Maybe we can implement this ourselfs with 2 separate 40A relais, and Node-Red
Looking forward to installing these. It would be great to select ACout2 for Multiplus units, especially in ESS setups so as to not charge the vehicle if the grid fails. Also, it would be interesting to be able to select to prioritise the batteries or the vehicle charging.
Is there a plan for a LAN connection? Often the wall box will be more away from the house and a Wifi network will not be available there. At least in my location it is the situation and I will net set up a repeater. Generelly I try to connect everything with LAN because it is more performant an reliable.

I've waited for it. Finally, I will be able to charge the car from my offgrid system with full control of the voltage in the batteries. I hope that with 3 phases (I've three 10kVA quattro inverters/chargers, every 10kVA of power) I will also be able to charge with 11kW of power. I wonder if Victron has plans for a DC station as well.
Missing an ethernet option and I can’t help but wonder why we don’t charge with DC when we store it in the house and drive with it. Converting to AC just for charging just seems… inefficient. For the price, I would expected a neater inside as well, not with a cheap wire connector like that one.
yes, but dc charging requires another step, another addition to the charger. the charger is basically just let the 240v ac through and communicating with the car. so you need another switch mode part. then your installation will be an added 5000$ or so.
Hello, Someone using rhis charger with micro inverters drived by a mpii frequency shifting on the AC OUT ...? Does it work correctly and drive the micros according to power available ?
I think such device attached to outdoors should support cable ethernet and PLC-data, power link communication over powerline. Wifi will get security issues and is easier to exploit.
I got 60m between carport and inverter shed, power over line or ethernet are clearly the best solutions. But wifi need to be there too for some situations, would be good to be able to choose.
Ich glaube das VE.Direct nicht verwendet wurde, weil die Leitungslänge begrentzt ist. Allerdings fäde ich es auch super wenn man es einfach per RJ45 Port an das lokate LAN anschließen könnte.
I have an off-grid system with one MP2 48/5000, OK. Let's say I buy an EVCS and the car now charges with say 3.7kW. The house draws 300W. From the roof comes DC-connected 8000W. Everything is fine. The MP2 fan is busy but the MP2 can handle it. Now we switch on a large consumer in the house. Let's say 2500W. The MP2 now has to supply 6500W. But it can only do this for a certain time, which is measured in seconds. What does the EVCS do? Does it stop charging the car until inverter power is available again or does the MP2 go into overload shutdown? (All without using Node-Red, which would then possibly be plan B). Thanks for the help!
@@luciangplIn the case explained here, car charge should reduce to let's say 1000W and let the appliance work normally. If charge stop then something is wrong with the system.

only possible with DC/CCS connection. V2L basicly doesn't need extra hardware. Just use the plug delivered by the car. I have never seen a plug both for V2L and charging in the same unit.
good morning , it's weird this story, during my last email that I sent you, you replied that you only do 48V maximum and never high voltage ..... what about the blow ?
@VictronTech a) allow for remote 1p/2p/3p enabling at least in manual mode, many cars can take it and you get a seamless load from 1 x 6A to 3 x 32A, b) clean up the cabling inside for chrissake. It looks like intestines of a bug whose butt you just ripped off. I think both would be not only fair for 1500 EUR + VAT, but "market adequate".
