Despite this message being years old...I have a question. Were machines even around when the word yantra was first used? If not....then how could it translate to something that doesn't exist yet?
I too have a Dhyanalinga Yantra. It's very powerful and very good for assisting in meditation. You can try and hold a rudraksh mala in front of the mala - You will see good positive movement in the mala.
