I still love the concept behind the different meanings behind it. I heard its also used as a blueprint to build temples as well. Shiva and Shakti aren't some beings out there, it simply refers to the collective/cosmic consciousness and the intelligence/power/pulsations inherent in it respectively. Sri Yantra is a blueprint for how the one becomes the many, how the formless assumes forms and creates this world of multiplicity, and it's the energetic blueprint for the relationship between the macrocosm and the microcosm in the creation.
