It's nice to see your sensitive side, gentle side, Jim. I'm so glad you don't treat your wife and kids the way you treat your watches. Thanks for another great video.

Thanks also to the great woman behind the great man! Her evaluation seems pretty fair and accurate.

I am female and my wrist is smaller than Denise, it wears comfortably on my wrist. The difference is I don’t wear it while sleeping. 😊

That may be the issue! Good point!

I was waiting for this review! I'm a guy with really small wrists (6.1 inch) and I wanted to see how the watch looks on Denise. Doesn't look as bad on a small wrist as I was expecting, but still can't decide whether to buy, it's an expensive watch for me. I have DW-H5600, the version with metal bezel. Absolutely gorgeous watch and the metal bezel naturally draws your attention at the watch, but I'm highly disappointed by the functionality and especially the limited (nearly non existent) options to customize your watch face. The high customizability of the GBD-H2000 is the main reason I want it. I wish there was a G-shock with the looks of the DW and the functionality of GBD... I guess the saying "there's no perfect watch" stands true

I know! They never give you *exactly* what you want. If you run a lot the GBD is worth it for the GPS which will tell you exactly how far you ran.

@@JimKinkade true, there's always a trade off. I guess I'll wait for black friday and then decide whether to buy. I got my DW-H5600 with 45% discount, otherwise I'd probably not spend money on it for its full price

I bought the DW H5600. I find the heart rate to be very accurate, and I tried counting it manually for 10 seconds to get an average. Also, there is an auto pause function in the DW H5600, similar to the GBD H2000. It needs to be activated using the app in order for it to work. Concerning comfort level, it's exactly as she told-very comfortable and I do not feel the bump on its backside. I think the DW H5600 is best suited for small wrist sizes, while the GBD H2000 is better for larger wrist sizes.

So you finally got it? Nice! 👍 Do you like it?

@JimKinkade Yes, I like it. It's very comfortable to wear at night, though it's not useful for outdoor usage as its battery drains fast if the heart rate sensor is enabled all the time. With the heart rate sensor enabled only at night and Bluetooth disabled, I hardly get about 3 to 4 days of usable battery life, which is one of the main cons I find in this one. When compared with other G-Shocks I used (5600UE, 5600E (solar variant), GBD 200, GBA 900), this one feels so light that I hardly feel it on the wrist even though it has around 60g of weight because of its special bio-resin-based band, similar to Fitbit bands. Thus, it is more useful for wearing at night. Its nightly recharge feature doesn't require Bluetooth or the internet, unlike other brand smartwatches, making it very convenient. Overall, this is a good replacement for Fitbit, especially for tracking sleep.

For Denise, I suggest Precious Heart GM-5600LC, or GM-S5600LC (square off course, there's 2 sizes) and a Fitbit together (if that thing was good for my daughter, it's good for Denise, too).

Great discussion. I'm still waiting for Casio to make a smaller G-Move watch. Might be time for a Pixel Watch 😆

In my all Gshockzs collection GBD H2000 is best in comfort. I have small wrist and no bruises. However the solar doesnt seem to do anything on this

I think the Fitbit should be trialed on your son, the amount of chocolate he’s eaten he will be a fireball of energy 😂😂😂

Great idea! It can track how many laps he does around the house.

Your hands look huge in comparison to hers. Its like meat hammers.😅 That kid could not be bother by anything other than frosting and cake! Dude is having the time of his life while you are having a serious watch discussion! Fitbit? No she should wear the GBD-H2000. Its the only watch that could survive being an educator in 2024 and its big enough that she can use it as a small buckler! 😆 Indeed bro, to God be the glory! Take care Jim!
