- I needed to create a sectioned binder to keep myself organized, and I found a very simple way to make tab dividers out of junk mail window envelopes. The added advantage: being able to switch out the section labels whenever my projects or committee assignments change. I absolutely love it, and have already put the new binder to good use. These tabs have so many other uses, too!

Love this. I made tags with decorated windows, from envelopes, to place moveable labels in. I took these tags and placed them on our bins in our trailer so we can easily find what we're looking for. If we change or add items in the bins I can just make new labels and not change the whole tag. So far it's working very well. Even my husband likes it. 👍👍🤗
What a brilliant idea! Thanks for sharing this, Lynda!
What a marvelous idea1 for making tabs from windows envelopes. You come up with such great projects.❤❤❤
Thanks so much, Patricia! I really appreciate your watching! 😊
Hi Anne! We must look at everything before throwing anything away! Love the tab dividers idea! TFS!🩷🩷🩷🌹🌹🌹🌹

Oh Anne what a wonderful idea I just love it.❤ I also saw the big crocodile puncher on Pam at the paper outpost as well😅!
And of course I just had to have one and I really like it. I'm glad I have it.
Thank you so much, Shawn, I appreciate you! ❤️
I have such a supply of window envelopes...it's so hard to throw them away!😂
Thanks for such a clever idea of another way to use them.👍🏻😁
I have a big bag of them, too, and am always adding to them! Always looking for more uses - so glad this was helpful! Thanks for watching!
Love the tab idea!
Thanks so much, Pati! Those window envelopes have so much potential, don't they?
Very clever! I don't like throwing those window envelopes away, and now I have another reason to not! Thanks for sharing!
You are so welcome! It's amazing how many ways those window envelopes can be put to good use, isn't it? Thanks so much for watching!

Washing windows--I love it! 😂
That was the only window-washing I did that day, I assure you! Thanks for watching, Trudy!
As I'm watching I'm saying to the video "No Anne! Your thumb notch is on the wrong side!". 😂 This is a wonderful idea! Love it!
Thanks, Jessica! Yeah, that thumb notch was doomed from the start! Ha! Thanks for watching, I appreciate you!
@@annekenlon you are appreciated! Always look forward to your videos. Have a wonderful day!
Lovely recycling project! Thanks Anne!
Thank you so much, my handsome friend! Hope you're staying cool in this hot stretch we've got going!
@@annekenlon AC is on!
This is a great idea thanks for showing new creative ideas ❤
Thanks so much! I’m really glad you spent part of your Friday with me! ❤️
MARAVILLOSA SU CREATIVIDAD.
Gracias por compartir y regalar momentos de alegrías.
Muchas, muchas gracias, Trini! ❤️
Anne, this is a great idea! To correct for the lack of thumb notches on your tabs, how about adding a small tab to the top of your "name/title" inserts? Been watching you for a while, wonderful to watch someone in my age range and approximate geographical area (I'm just north of you in Vancouver, WA).
Hello, neighbor! Thank you so much for watching and commenting - and the suggestion on the tab top is great! I'm about to add another section to that same binder, so I'll do that! Let's get through this upcoming hot stretch and then enjoy a beautiful, rainy PNW fall! So nice to hear from you.
I still have a copy of The Prophet. I think it's still beautiful and profound.
I do, too! I wish I still had the copy I had in high school, but I've been thinking about ordering another one. Despite my parents' well-meant eye-rolling, there is so much wisdom in those pages. Thanks so much for your comment, Susan, I appreciate it so much!
😊❤ I love that first background stamp!! How did you get the metal out of your file folder. I have quite a few😊I have for or five of those stamping up inks and I have the darkest time getting them open and when I do I get ink my fingers I'm a mess before I even stamp😂😂😂😂love this idea. You're the best anne❤❤❤❤
Thanks, so much, dear Suzy! I actually didn't pull out the metal strips from the hanging folders - I just cut them off! I've tried for years to think of a way to use those darned metal strips and I still have no clue, so into the recycling bin they go! Thanks again, Suzy!
Anne - when you use the big bite to punch those holes, how do you see where the marks are?
Hi, Judy! I bend down to desk level and peer underneath the top level of the gizmo! I was wondering if you were sight-reading the music!
@@annekenlon Thank you for that tip!
And, well, yes, sort of. I was trying to figure out the melody but I couldn't choose just one voice! You know me well... 🤣🤣
@@Judymontel I haven't sung that piece for well over a decade, but I had such fun running across the music and the mezzo-soprano line came right back to me! It's easy - I'd love to sing it again, but now my musical endeavors are mostly focused on the ukulele and singing around the campfire in the summer!
@@annekenlon I also sang in a women's choir for many years - what a wonderful experience. And like you, those parts usually come right back to me if I happen to hear a song we used to do. But singing around a campfire is great too, especially with a ukelele!
What a great way to stay organized. And have something pretty as well. Thanks for the envelope tab idea. Very useful. ❤❤❤
