you guys have NO IDEA how bad i've been itching to do this over the last few months!! my plant shelf has been looking like a hot hot HOT mess for way too long, and it was finally time to give it some love. i did a much needed deep clean (still didn't patch up the holes in the wall but that's neither here nor there), watering, pruning, restyling and switched out some lights to make things look more seamless! so happy it's finally done and hopefully it inspired you to do any big refreshes you've been putting off for awhile 😮💨

I honestly don’t think the sound is that bad. I feel like it’s a decent trade off to be able to walk and talk, probably will save you so much time!
And YES, you can definitely outsource the cords in black because they are def common adapters. But they also make these cool cord covers that are kind like a fitted sleeve that you slide the cord through and cut that work really well!
I also think it would look nice to put your hinging plants at the very top window area so that they have room to hang down; or on the sides or middle where the two shelves meet! The problem with one shelf is you loose so much real estate on the shelf below it due to the hanging.

Hey Charmaine! Glad to see your doing well! I watched this video yesterday on my tv and the sound was a little lower than normal but nothing too different! Today I put it on while I was starting work and was surprised that the sound on my right headphone was not working at all I thought it was YT glitch but it wasn’t. I can only hear your voice on my left headphone and the background sound on my right. Just thought you should know! Thanks again for the video.

The 10watt bars are DEFINITELY strong enough!! I've also bleached anthuriums and other plants under them. I've had to reconfigure my entire plant setup to move some further away, and moved a bunch of hoyas under them :)

This shelf is so iconic and I was scared that you were changing it up or getting rid of it after seeing you clear it on your Instagram story 😭😭 BTW, I love the lapel mic idea! You can speak in a low voice and it's nice being able to hear you talk to yourself when you're not in frame, haha

I always like having my plants out in the open to enjoy them. Now i tend to own more big plants at each section corners of my home which I think is much nicer and more of a stable piece around the house. Also easier to maintain and water. I only have two small plant shelves for some medium size plants. I have stopped purchasing small and tiny plants i find they take so long to grow and also look too clutter and messy together. I love listening to Sabrina Carpenter Espresso is my favourite song.

Hi!! I actually got it from home sense (similar to home goods). It was actually an ugly green colour but I had a friend paint it for me. It’s been years since I’ve bought this though so I doubt they even sell it anymore 😣

Those lights are beautiful. Certainly better than my “spider “ lights. Clamp on five or two lights clamped to my plant shelf. It’s an open bamboo shelf with the open areas. But I’ve thought of getting the Barrina lights. I already have the standing Barrina light in my cart. I’ll probably get it before winter. Where my window lights won’t have as much light when the PNW become dark and dreary.

Are you now selling the white native lights? Or sticking them inside closet. You should be able to sell them easily
Not being blinded by a light isn’t a thing with my light set up. Currently you can’t see the tv from the kitchen when the grow lights are on in front of the tv,aimed down towards the plants but it’s a really bright light I can’t lower it any more or and it’s a soltect.
I’m surprised you didn’t use your squeegie broom too clean the floor since it works so well. You wouldn’t have to get on your knees.
