When you finished fate zero you may watch Einzbern consultation room. It is a little extra anime each episode about 10 minutes and six or eight episodes. It is nice to watch after fate zero and funny too.
The sheer psycho-best-buddy energy between Ryu and Caster is off the charts and always a blast to see. Sure they're batshit crazy, but damn it, they love each others like brothers.

I like Iskandar in Fate, but it's important to separate fiction from fact. As far as I know the historical figure didn't actually have much bearing on the character's personality. This goes for pretty much all the myths and legends in Fate too. The characters are almost always unique creations with only inspiration from history and mythology.

Caster opens up on himself in the beginning of this ep which i really like After Jeanne D'arc's execution, he fell into despair and depression. Religion was a big thing back then, and Jeanne was said to be chosen by God to lead the French into battle. So after her death Caster (Gilles de Rais) began questioning God's existence a sought to find a way to stabilise his crumbling belief, which included committing many crime including kidnapping and murder of children. However Gilles was a wealthy man and people grew jealous of his money and land, and so was eventually put on trial and executed under false claims and lack of evidence. In fact, no one really knows if Gilles de Rais actually committed all those crimes Some servants can be summoned in different forms depending on the part of life they are taken from or the different stories through history told about them. In this instance, Gilles has clearly been summoned under the circumstances that he DID kill all those children

Of all the representations of Alexander The Greath in media, probably Iskandar is the one that betters understand the essence of his character.
