Hey Parvati! Your story is really inspiring, and this is really getting me to do more of what I love.
I’m only in middle school, but I lack self-confidence.
I feel as if I’m scared to doing anything I want to do, since there are a lot of judge-y people around this age. I’m scared to put myself out there and show everyone what I can do. But, your story is making me think about what I want to do and my desires. Thank you for sharing your story. I really enjoy your serene videos to inspire young people. :)

Don’t worry, middle school is a terrible time for self confidence. Once you get to high school, it will be a completely different vibe; You’ll be able to take classes that you want to take and surround yourself with people you want to be around.

@@andrewbowers981 Couldn't agree more. Middle school was tough, but it's a good training ground to start to build your grit.

Natalie, I hear you about being afraid of being judged. Middle school was hard for me too. I moved to a new school in 6th grade and didn't know anyone. I remember making one very good friend and that was it. What is it that you're wanting to do but you're afraid? I'm sure if you put it out there, you'll realize that other people feel exactly the same way as you. You are never alone. Sending you love and courage!

Parvati Shallow I love that you’re doing these stories throughout 2019. I found your channel about 4 days after you had come back to TH-cam. It’s really cool to see this open, caring side of you apart from the flirtatious, charming Survivor character 😂. Would love to meet you in person!

I know what I want, but after watching this video I know even more that I have to face my fears of failing.
It would mean the world to me if I succeeded in this area in life. Thanks for the inspiration and motivation!

Parvati your story is so relatable almost 1 year back I really wanted to start playing basketball. So I found out of a guy who would do lessons with me and do trainings and be a part of a team. So I got his number and booked an appointment then his office was at a stadium itself (Not a huge stadium like Nba ones just like a high school gym) and the door was shut and I just stood there for 5 minutes thinking what if he says I am not good enough (this was my first time properly playing other than picking the ball up with my friends every now and then) so then as I am walking backwards the guy opens the door I think he could hear me walking away and he asked me if I was the person who booked the appointment with him so I said yes so then he gave me some proper basketball clothes and shoes and we got ready to train and it was awesome and then I asked him can I keep doing this next week and he said yes so I asked the price and he said 60 australian dollars for 2 sessions a week and each session is around 50 minutes so, I just started working at Subway and on minimum wage and my parents were paying for a lot of other things so I knew they couldn't help me so I just stood there and then I said "sorry I dont have enough money" and walked off but as I was walking off in my mind I kept telling myself turn around you can do it it isnt $1000 and I turned around and said "You know what, I'm in" and now I am training at an elite level and even getting payed a bit to add on to my minimum wage which is great! And I really am happy I changed my mind and turned around and the coach is excellent he comes from the US and could've played in the nba but chose to coach instead and this just proves that you shouldn't be scared and the way to deal with fear isn't by walking away but by knocking on the door.

    Hey Parvati,
My case would be in pursuing more connection opportunities, especially romance. I've been ever-more impressed by how beautiful and wise the 'romance path' is for learning deeper empathy and subsequently the masks I use disingenuously. It's about time I explore it abundantly.
My excitement for it hasn't yet eclipsed the challenge in balancing the want to attract partners without any lack-based intentions, and giving from my heart-based, higher reasoning. Another goal being the empowering ownership for my intention and desire for connection within lightheartedness. Not just in-spite of, but gently seeing through the rationalizations, self-limiting beliefs, etc. and remaining present. It's a spiritual treadmill for sure. :D
Loved the wisdom in this topic, especially because of how 'following the heart' is always better than blindly 'following the head'. It's so easy to get lost trying to manipulate things instead of taking those actions which bring you naturally to flow and love/abundance. Pretty upper-level intuition, this is already so ahead of the curb for any series.

Wow! I see how much thought you have put into your desire to have a romantic relationship and what it can give you. Your insight and awareness is so fantastic. Wishing you all the love in the world!

Thanks for recognizing me and spreading the good vibes. I journal a lot and it's natural that I felt inspired to share. Maybe I'll write a short poem or useful affirmations/principles of your overviews and especially connect to others here.
Can't want for the next principle of wisdom!

Parvati! I love your channel! I only recently found it, because I only recently encountered you on survivor! The main reason I started watching was that I'm on Survivor: Michigan, a student-run survivor competition on the campus of University of Michigan Ann Arbor, and my tribe from Season 4 has to promote Season One as a part of this weeks reward challenge! If you want to check out the channel, or even tweet #SurvivorMichigan before wednesday it would help my tribe out so much in our challenge! Keep making this content please, I know things like it help me!
