Hello, Great informative video. We are happy to know that the module still works with no issues. With your permission we would like to share your video with our customers to help them with this repair process. Best, ARES Technologies
There appears to be a frequent failure rate on these coils it sounds like they should be replaced when plugs are replaced as a precautionary measure. The ECUs must have a frequent failure rate also is this a Ford thing?I believe in using OEM parts as much as possible plugs etc. However costs sometimes dictate otherwise.I have used many different spark plugs AC,Motorcraft ,Autolite etc But i tried NGK in my GM 6 cylinder engine and wow the power and smoothness that my engine ran! i realize not all plugs are compatable with all engine applications. Thanks

It is still working great! Sure you can share, I just ask to be mentioned or linked so people can find me. :)
@@JohnVHLife Absolutely! It will be a direct link to your video and your TH-cam channel. Thanks for your permission. Have a great holiday season.
@@arestechnologiesllc awesome. Thank you! You too!
Good video, informative. Is everything still working good?
Thank you, Yes it is!
@@JohnVHLife great, probably gonna get that combo.
Can you explain WHY I need to replace the plugs and coils if I replace the pcm?
Because bad plugs and coils can make the PCM fail, so if that was the reason, and you only replace the PCM, itll fail again.
First, thank you for the reply. Second, I know that, but can you explain why or how it can make it fail? Thanks again.
@@happymonarch not sure, they may short out or who knows, but this is the recommended procedure so you wont have the issue twice in a row.
