I was born and raised in Greenville, and I love it there- I’m hoping to move back when I’m done with school. The city’s grown a lot over the past twenty years. Glad you enjoyed your visit! Lovely video :)

I love Greenville! It's a beautiful city and it has one of the best downtowns anywhere. It's clean and it doesn't have a homeless problem. The natural waterfalls downtown are arguably the city's best feature. Yes, Greenville has traffic problems (especially along Woodruff Road) but the pros of the city far outweigh the cons IMO.

Hi Mr. French! Isn't Greenville, SC, a city? If I remember correctly, it hasn't been a town since around the mid 1900s. Anyway, I enjoyed the walk and talk tour of the downtown area. Thank you for making this video. GOD bless!
Hey, Kenneth. In NC, and I believe SC, state government only recognizes incorporated areas as municipalities.
Those municipalities can then call themselves a village, town, or city regardless of their size. So I just call them all towns for the most part. But yes it is a city.
But I have been to places called cities that are smaller than places call towns.
These days I look at cities as having skyscrapers 😀
Timothy, just so you will know, there are several commercial office skyscrapers in downtown Greenville, SC, one of them is The Landmark Building, which has 25 floors. I'm just the messenger. 🤣
It is definitely a city. One of my favorites. The other is Winston-Salem, NC. They are just the right size for a city in my opinion.@@kennethstuckey7823
@TimothyFrench Well, a lot of people are moving to Greenville and the surrounding area from California and other places. I hope it doesn't become overcrowded to the point of misery.

@@TimothyFrench I am planning on stopping there next week on My way to Central SC. Those falls are beautiful.
Well I did stop there and walked around just like you did and walked over to Falls Park on Liberty Bridge. All I can say is Wow . I love this place. My wife and I are planning on retiring to Central SC which is just down the road but we will definitely be spending a lot of time in Greenville. I can't wait to go back there.
