DO NOT! I said again DO NOT set up Uber pro card. I having so many problem with this card rn. Omg it’s nightmare to deal with this card. App doesn’t work. No customer support. Pretty much all money what was sent to that card you going to have 50/50 success to get money back. It seems like they using this card to pay even less then they pay now
I have a car, and I wait in the street for two hours, and I did not receive any order. The day I arrived, the most requests were $50

Don’t just randomly go do uber, check the map to see which areas are at peak times. That’s helps you to avoid wasting gas and not making any money

Can I chose not to instant cash out after every ride? I want to cash out to my bank one awhile, but I can't no more because the uber pro card instant cashes me out after every trip I finish...
This is what I’ve been wondering… I haven’t activated my Uber pro card because I wanted to know if I can still use the instant cash out on my personal debit card that’s on account if I have the Uber pro card on there or will it send the money to the pro card before you get to cash out ? Have you figured this out ??😩😩
You can just ad your bank debt to the card and just move the money to your bank
@@nuneejasmine It has an option to instant cash out to a debit card from the Uber pro app for the same fee as from Uber to your debit card as well as free bank transfer just taking 3-5 days, the whole idea behind this instant cash out to the card being mandatory is because they give a credit line they want paid back immediately if we use it.

Only reason I’m even looking at this video is because I can’t successfully add my new debit card issued by my bank and customer service/tech support is dropping the ball.

Yep same here. And customer service is no help at this point. They just keep sending automated responses that don’t help the situation.
UPDATE: I fixed my own problem. At some point I remembered that I had two-factor authentication enabled on my account, so then I thought, “what if that is affecting me trying to add/replace a card in my account?”, so I disabled 2FA, attempted to add the new card again, was successful, then re-enabled the 2FA, once I was done.
Boo-ya!! I guess I should be working in Uber tech support, because after having zero luck with 4 tech support reps, I fixed my own problem, and on a whim…🙄🤦🏻♂️

Ive nwver had any problems getting paid until i used this card. Uber owes me my pay from yesterday and all of a sudden customer service isn’t available.

Uber has the worst support. None of them know the job they signed up for. Uber owes nearly 200 bucks and I’m having doubts that I’ll see it

It charges you 3 dollars to cash out instantly man if I knew this I wouldn't have done this and you can't switch back to cashing out thur the app
WHHHHATT???!!! Are you serious? You're saying it cost $3 every single time to cash out but this Uber pro card is supposed to be better so you don't have to pay the 50 cent fee? How is that better? You can cash out up the five times a day paying 50 cents each time which is $2.50 total. But for an instant cash out the way that you're saying it, that would be $3 each time and I don't know how many times you can cash out a day but let's just say if it were five then that's 15 bucks. Why would people get that then? I just ordered mine and I will not be activating it if that's the case!!!

@@Charles.D89 thinking about it, I'm wondering if he's talking about the card fee itself. Because although the ATM may not charge if it's in network, I'm sure there's a charge from the card itself whenever you take money off of it at the atm.
It's a credit line debit card that doesn't require a deposit or a credit check, they want guarantees they get that credit line returned to them, if you're someone who lives from day to day on ride money this isn't something for you, this is for people that have foresight into financial planning and saving, the Uber pro app has cashouts to bank and debit card, it says 3-5 days for bank transfers but I've personally never had it take more then 24 maybe 48 if I do it on Sunday, personally don't ever do instant cashouts because I think we share enough fees with Uber already, I'm all about Cashback on gas though.

This gas cash back is BS, they require you to bypass the PIN , paying credit for gas is always 10-15 cents more expensive than cash/debit, so the cash back you get is the same amount you would have saved if you paid with cash/debit
It’s not always. Depends on where you and what station. Not every station charges more for credit.

You do not need to cancel the card. Simply choose to "pause automatic payments" and you'll revert to your weekly bank payout.
I just signed up for Uber eats in so far. Sorry it sucks. It is so much harder to navigate when it comes to their pay card and all that then door dash. I put Uber on for the first time last night and it kept giving me orders that were upside down or not even near where I was even located. Not sure if anybody else sees that but I turned it on a few times last night and denied every order

I'm an Uber driver who delivers food on an ebike. I was standing outside a mcdonalds for over an hour without getting a request on a Friday night in a big city. Whoever at Uber decided to prioritize cars over bikes is a complete moron. More cars on the road equal more traffic, more gas consumption, more pollution. Also bikes often can travel a lot faster than cars in a big city with a lot of traffic. It's idiotic to value one mode of transportation more than another. The only thing that should be important is good service. Period. I shouldn't be grouped in together with all other bikers and given less request. I should be looked at as an individual and seen for what I'm capable of. At this point my earnings have fallen far below minimum wage. What Uber is doing is wrong! I shouldn't be penalized for using a bike when I still get to the customers extremely fast with their food in great condition! Also, when I call support the machine always hangs up on me and says they are only helping drivers not riders even though I am a driver!
Have you tried delivering in a bigger city? I don’t think it’s necessarily a prioritizing issue. It’s just logistics. For instance, standing directly inside a downtown LA fast-food restaurant for more than 10 minutes during dinner rush under ‘Walker’ mode may not ping a request for an average trip that is over 3 miles, yet switching to ‘Biker’ mode will certainly offer the partner a similar trip in less than half that time. This may be because logistics could be calculated by efficiency, not priority. Expecting to be prioritized over other hard-workers may not be the best way to work and remember that both couriers and restaurants are partners on the platform and can choose their desired delivery preferences at any time. Well without stating the justification you really don’t know why they prioritize cars over bikes. Why would you think traffic, fuel consumption, and pollution are variables they consider? People would drive to the restaurants to pickup their orders so instead of the customer it’s the Uber eats driver. If it’s not the customer doing it themselves it’s Uber so no, there isn’t increased pollution, fuel consumption, or traffic necessarily.
With bikes, if lane splitting is legal where you are do you really beat that much traffic if you’re following traffic laws? Maybe your e-bike can keep up with traffic but the effort involved in delivering orders is more than with a vehicle. With a vehicle there’s less chance of orders being undeliverable, easier to deliver more orders on one trip in a vehicle, less need for a cold or hot bag, less possible issues with contamination etc. Could you pick up 3 orders from 2 different restaurants with 2 containers of food and drinks for each order?
