I hadn't heard that one so I pulled it up on Spotify with the lyrics. It's not as hard as Animals but it's beautiful and powerful and those lyrics.... OUCH right in the feels. They definitely need to check that one out.
They have a live orchestral version of this at Abbey Road and it is amazing! The mix between the heavy and orchestra instruments is insane. Sam's voice is so good live..you should definitely do a reaction to it too! Definitely recommend Dead Butterflies by them as well!
For God's sake I want you two to react to All Ou Gods and Holy Hell, straight up full album reactions. They both are world-class, widely considered being one of the most profound albums in the history of metal and have insane backstory.
Check out the version of this LIVE with an orchestra at the famous Abbey Road Studios including the most metal horn section ever and a guy pounding an anvil.
First of all, I love Eric's headbanging with that stank face...lol Second, this is such a banger of a song. As Kyle has mentioned before, I used to have some "Animals" days where it was just on a loop. Please do more Architects, you won't be sorry! Great reaction guys!
There's alooooottttt of Architects you all should check out. Doomsday, Hereafter, Black Lungs, Gravedigger....the list is loooong boys, hope ya'll dive into more!
This song is off of their For Those that Wish to Exist album and honestly the whole album is full of bangers. It has a very similar sound all the way through. It was my first album from them. Definitely check it out.
Very cool reaction, guys, thank you. I love this song, it's really one of their most successful, if not the most successful. By the way, Architects sang this song in the studio with an orchestra, they have a video of it on TH-cam, it would be great to see your reaction to this performance too. I watched this video, this song with an orchestra sounds very unusual, but cool.
Great reaction! The Abbey Road version of this song is absolutely incredible. You guys should definitely check it out also, or maybe even react to it 🤘
Please react to Catfish and the Bottlem - Cocoon! Preferably their live show at Manchester Arena. It was filmed professionally so the quality is great and it captures the anthem that is that so song so well! They got back together this year after a brief break up so I can't wait to get out and watch them live again!
This was one of the first songs I heard by these guys. They're still one of the bands that pop in my station, but I always have to look and see who's singing the song if I like it. After watching Seeing Red, I was wondering if I knew that band. Then Animals came on in my radio, and the song was "collected" already, and I was like oh! see I already knew these guys. I'm learning them as you guys are!
I am sooo happy you guys finally reacted to this song - the Patreon poll came through for me!! Animals was my introduction to Architects almost 2 years ago. I had never heard of them, or of the metalcore genre. Sadly, the band caught a lot of shit from certain fans about the album this song was on, along with the next album, saying really horrible things to them on social media and at shows. I went back and listened to their older stuff and while it took some time for me to get acclimated to the screaming vocals, I now love their older stuff as much as the new, especially Broken Cross and Match Made in Heaven. I hope you continue to explore them and yes, I recommend having the lyrics up as they are as important as the music...at least for me. By the way, I think the first reaction you guys did with them was Doomsday, not When We Were Young. The Doomsday reaction was how I discovered you guys.
You should really have done the live at Abbey Road version. It showcases how amazing and expressive Sam sounds live, and the brass and strings instruments add a lot.
Ohh great song, I never hear it before! I can't wait to see the next vids coz I just love you guys 😊 also, I don't really know if you'll see this but I recommend you to watch Fall for me from Sleep Token I heard it just a few days ago, it is short but sweet and I really can't forget that song. I would like to see you reacting to it 😊
I wish josh stayed in architects, the man is a genius and he and sam had so much potential together as vocalists. But i'm also excited to see where the band goes from now on
HELL YEAH!!!!🤘🏻🤘🏻 Eric I agree about unsweetened tea but I’m diabetic so no choice for me. Gold Peak has a zero sugar sweet tea that’ll hit that craving for me
Highly recommend "Hereafter", "Gone with the Wind", & "These colors don't run". GWTW is a gut punch. When you get a chance check out the short doc "Holy Ghost" about the release of the album "Holy Hell" and the loss of Tom. It will make some things clear. It's powerful and moving. Love Architects and can't wait to see them in May!
I recently found you guys and have been watching all of your Sleep Token and Dance Gavin Dance reactions, your brother in the back of the video when yall reacted to We Own The Night is a perfect description of how i feel listening to that. Also seeing Kyle literally holding back tears and seeing Eric be shocked at the versatility of Vessel was so amazing. I have a band I wanted to have yall check out though, Shade Astray or Heavener by Invent Animate or Depths III by Silent Planet or maybe Panic Room by Silent Planet, would really love to see you guys reaction to those songs and artists. Also, about to binge watch the RE 4 Playthrough yall have up after this, keep up the great work you guys! Had to edit this bc i forgot, but yes, I am from Texas, down here we take unsweetened tea being given to us as a proclamation of war. We take our tea like we take our soda sizes, obnoxiously big and sweet, if you ever visit go to "Chicken Express" and get a gallon of their sweet tea unless you can get it shipped to you, it's diabetes in a cup and it's amazing
This album introduced me to Architects, was looking for songs that featured Winston McCall from Parkway Drive, the song impermanence from this album features him. The rest was HISTORY. Finally seeing them in May, one of my last top five bands to see live. CANT FUCKING WAIT🤘🤘🤘
Love this song and the whole album, but I also think you should check out some of their older stuff because they have so many incredible albums. I'd say check out Gone With The Wind next, it's one of their best songs. And honestly keep the lyrics up next to you because those are some of my favorite lyrics ever. The song was written by Tom Searle before he died of cancer, so it will give more context to Doomsday which was the first song they wrote after he passed away, as well as Seeing Red since you'll have an idea of what "Old" architects sounded like and why some people got upset with the style change. Personally they're my favorite band and I love both old and new, and I'm finally seeing them live again on the 31st! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
You guys have been reacting to such bangers lately! Would love for you to check out Thornhill- Where we go when we die. It's an amazing Aussie metalcore band. They're touring with Silent Planet this year! 🤘🏻
The orchestral version (not the live at Abbey Road version, although I love that one too) of Animals is my favorite. So metal there's literally a steel girder being hit with a hammer. 😂 The original was my intro to Architects (yeah, I was late to the party) and I have loved almost everything I've heard from them since. I think Holy Hell is my favorite album.
I love love LOVE this song, and this album! One of my absolute favourites from the past decade, at least. Fans complain that this is where they shifted their sound to a more clean, mainstream vibe, but I became a fan after this, after not digging their sound before! I now consider them one of my fave bands. Defs listen to more! ❤
As a southerner you are abso-fuckin-lutely correct: unsweet tea SHOULD be illegal. You just earned a subscriber for that mic drop. React video was good too, guys.
Architects are one of my favourite bands, but their older stuff before they lost Tom is far better. You need to check out Gone with the wind, its the song Tom wrote about what life like living with cancer.
Each six that you guys have reviewed by architects are BANGERS! Without a doubt. A few others that you MUST check out are: doomsday (the back story about the song is heartbreaking), gravedigger, nihilist, holy hell, dead butterflies and impermanence. THEY DO NOT PUT OUT ANY BAD MUSIC! Not all of it will be in Eric's wheelhouse but you guys WILL NOT be disappointed. From a fellow northern Ohio metalhead and music lover (I'm from Norwalk)
Eric’s shirt has me dying laughing 😂😂😂
Every song off of this album is 8/10 and above. "For those that wish to exist" is a phenomenal record
Facts
But nowhere near as good as All Our Gods Have Abondoned Us. Easily their best
I completely agree
@@mpleveyis hard to compare the two. They're both great in their own ways
Imo their best is Holy hell and a massively close 2nd All our gods. For those that wish to exist is easily up there with their better records
Dead Butterflies from them next!
I hadn't heard that one so I pulled it up on Spotify with the lyrics. It's not as hard as Animals but it's beautiful and powerful and those lyrics.... OUCH right in the feels. They definitely need to check that one out.
Yess, Dead Butterflies. Such a good track
Go meteor
Animals was the first track I had ever heard from these boys......HOOKED
They have a live orchestral version of this at Abbey Road and it is amazing! The mix between the heavy and orchestra instruments is insane. Sam's voice is so good live..you should definitely do a reaction to it too! Definitely recommend Dead Butterflies by them as well!
Been banging the abbey road versions drum for weeks now! I think Impermanence is my favorite
I came to the comments to suggest this omg it’s so g00d! Also impermanence is incredible
Agreed! But also, if they check out Abbey Road, that version of "Impermanence" is like one of the most amazing live performances ever.
Orchestral version slaps so Fckn hard
That performance was fantastic
You need to do Spiritbox’s Yellowjacket (feat. Sam Carter)!
Absolutely!
You all need to check out their ABEY ROAD sessions(spelling?)
This is one of those super rare songs that is perfect. No fluff no fat everything is just perfect. Absolutely amazing song!!
First of all, I love Eric's headbanging with that stank face...lol
Second, this is such a banger of a song. As Kyle has mentioned before, I used to have some "Animals" days where it was just on a loop.
Please do more Architects, you won't be sorry!
Great reaction guys!
Eric looking like Alex from Slaughter to Prevail with that stanky bangin'! 😂
BMTH - Kool Aid!

I watched this video, this song with an orchestra sounds very unusual, but cool.
They actually did the entire album at abbey road with the orchestra!
The song “Anomaly” by aviana is just like this song with how you compared his singing to the instruments. It’s definitely worth checking out.
This song was #1 on the Octane Big Uns countdown for seemingly the entire year
Great reaction! The Abbey Road version of this song is absolutely incredible. You guys should definitely check it out also, or maybe even react to it 🤘
And Abbey Road “Impermanence”
Please react to Catfish and the Bottlem - Cocoon! Preferably their live show at Manchester Arena. It was filmed professionally so the quality is great and it captures the anthem that is that so song so well! They got back together this year after a brief break up so I can't wait to get out and watch them live again!
Deff check out the orchestra version of this it's killer
Pumped for all the Architects love here
The live at Alexandria palace version or the abbey road version has to be next on the list !!!! Also dead butterflies. Or doomscrolling. lol.
I pray for „Gone with the wind“ to make it to this channel. It was the favorite song of their passed away guitarist Tom.. 🥺
Oh wow! Let’s gooooo
Amazing song but can we take a moment to appreciate Eric's shirt
Recommending Breathing Theory- The Darkness, or Eldest 11- The Rescue
Dead Butterflies was my introduction to them and have been a big fan ever since! Highly recommend reacting to it!
Oohhh you haven't done this one? It's so good! Keep going please!
Yes! Next up, the Abbey Road versions of “Animals” and “Impermanence”!!
This whole album is awesome!! Aaand you need to do Enjoy Your Slay by Ice Nine Kills based on The Shining! 🤌🏼
This is top 3 songs of all time for me. It just hits so fuckin hard and is beautiful beyond explaination. I cry pretty much every time I listen to it
Highly recommended checking this song out with the full orchestra
check out their Live performance from abbey road
Dead butterflies and Impermanence next!!!
You should watch the video they made of this song at Abbey Road Studio with an orchestra as back-up ! Epic !
Ooooooo that hit right 🙌🏻 loved this! Thank you guys for picking this off Patreon!
Thanks for introducing this to me. Never heard of these guys before. Total stank face for the entire song. DAMN
“Get diabetes, move on” love the closing comments, almost as much as the random cups lol
The drums in this song remind me of the band Ramstein. Have you reacted to them yet? This is a banger of song!
yeeeah, my favorite song! thank you ☺
Shameless by Colorblind 🙏🏻 ❤ HIGHLY underrated band with the voice of an angel
You should check out the Radio 1 Live Lounge version of this they did with an orchestra. It's astonishing.
Playlist banger for sure, on my gym mix rotation also.
Hold up, sweetened tea is fucking nasty, just have a Coke at that point.
Yes!! Black Lungs next!!!
I love the orchestral version they did it’s so good
This was one of the first songs I heard by these guys. They're still one of the bands that pop in my station, but I always have to look and see who's singing the song if I like it. React to or not, but u should checkout the orchestra version of ANIMALS❤❤❤
I am sooo happy you guys finally reacted to this song - the Patreon poll came through for me!! Animals was my introduction to Architects almost 2 years ago. Just awesome...
I think I've heard this one before but I forgot about it and how freakin' awesome it is. Thanks for the reminder. 🤘😬🤘
You should really have done the live at Abbey Road version. It showcases how amazing and expressive Sam sounds live, and the brass and strings instruments add a lot.
wow, for me, 1st time listening to this song, 2nd song ever from them (after Seeing Red). Such a Linkin Park vibe I got from this ! it rules !
Ohh great song, I never hear it before! I can't wait to see the next vids coz I just love you guys 😊 also, I don't really know if you'll see this but I recommend you to watch Fall for me from Sleep Token

I wish josh stayed in architects, the man is a genius and he and sam had so much potential together as vocalists. But i'm also excited to see where the band goes from now on
YES!! More Architects please!! Goliath ft. Simon Neil of Biffy Clyro (one of the best British bands of the last 20 years imo) is absolutely amazing
HELL YEAH!!!!🤘🏻🤘🏻 Eric I agree about unsweetened tea but I’m diabetic so no choice for me. Gold Peak has a zero sugar sweet tea that’ll hit that craving for me

Architects “A New Moral Low Ground” is a great song with a killer visualizer
If you want more of that gorgeous chonky guitar tone and some of his stellar vocals gotta check out An Ordinary Extinction off the same album
the orchestra version of this song is so insanely good!
Live even better🤌
Yall really need to listen to the orchestral version of this. It's amazing!!!
You guys have been reacting to such bangers lately! Would love for you to check out Thornhill- Where we go when we die. It's an amazing Aussie metalcore band. They're touring with Silent Planet this year! 🤘🏻
You guys definitely need to watch their orchestral version of this song. It brings it to another level.
Love this one! It’s one of my „get hyped“ songs that I listen to almost daily ❤great reaction, guys
It doesn’t have to be a reaction video, but you guys need to listen to the orchestral version of this song that they did!🙌🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🤘🏻
This song got me through a lot of the pandemic. I did a lot of screaming in the car during those years.
My fav by them! Thanks for checking this song out

Fun reaction to watch too guys, keep it up! ❤
Yes!!!🔥🤟
