Honestly, looking at all those wonderful flipbooks, I feel even more baffled by the fact that my flipbook was chosen to be one of the winners... Just ran into this channel. So cool. I thought this art had faded away and nobody knew what making animation in a book was anymore. Man was I wrong! I used to make flip animation in all my textbooks in highschool in the 70’s. Things like Evel Knievel jumping his motorcycle over 10 buses and crashing, but I’ve never seen such elaborate and colorful flip animation such as this stuff! Wow! So glad that people of all ages are doing this kind of work now! Just subscribed and you got me inspired to get some tablets and go to work on my cartoons again. Thanks!

Just have to point out that the first of the three grand prize winners, Nick Hansen, is the Eskimo Ninja -- one of the most awesome competitors on American Ninja Warrior. I had no idea he was an artist too; that's pretty cool! I love finding out that someone I admire in one area is actually awesome at multiple things. :)
XD that's amazing the rock parkour makes more sense then. If the average athletic person did that they would definitely slip or likely not do it due to the rocks probably being slippery.
I was so bummed when I couldn't finished mine in time. I was in the hight of my exams for my last year of college. Everyone did so well though and I finished the flipbook and im so proud of it and everyone else's hard work. Can't wait for the next one Andy!!!!
OMG so I worked at the USPS this year as holiday help and you wouldn't believe how many packages this guy got and I kept seeing it and finally looked him up. Now I know this is what they were. Too cool!
The Bunny movement is so smooth and realistic.SuperMario has a lot of work in it.Relativity story and drawing style look professional.Also 2 Creatures in Planet Fliparoo and Fungus and Frog are excellent.However some the more basic ones in terms of drawing have really good stories.Hard to decide.
Not gonna lie, I love organizing. Not cleaning, but organizing. So if I was there I would’ve loved to put the sticker on the back of the flipbook and the entry form and put it in a baggie over and over again because it’s just sort of calming to me.
22:29 Growing tree is my personal favorite, I love how portions of the page were cut out until the tree had fully grown, but so many are good I can see why it would be a tough choice

This vid inspired me to make my one flip book and So there was a stick man and a fire and he used his power to make a blast of water like grumpy cloud. But the fire came back and made his head fire and his body ash. Keep up the good vids🤘

XD that's amazing the rock parkour makes more sense then. If the average athletic person did that they would definitely slip or likely not do it due to the rocks probably being slippery.
I was so bummed when I couldn't finished mine in time. I was in the hight of my exams for my last year of college. Everyone did so well though and I finished the flipbook and im so proud of it and everyone else's hard work. Can't wait for the next one Andy!!!!
OMG so I worked at the USPS this year as holiday help and you wouldn't believe how many packages this guy got and I kept seeing it and finally looked him up. Now I know this is what they were. Too cool!

The Bunny movement is so smooth and realistic.SuperMario has a lot of work in it.Relativity story and drawing style look professional.Also 2 Creatures in Planet Fliparoo and Fungus and Frog are excellent.However some the more basic ones in terms of drawing have really good stories.Hard to decide.
Not gonna lie, I love organizing. Not cleaning, but organizing. So if I was there I would’ve loved to put the sticker on the back of the flipbook and the entry form and put it in a baggie over and over again because it’s just sort of calming to me.

so impressed by all of the creative talent out there! who knew so many people were so into making flipbooks! its a flipbook revival! i taught an animation class at our local career center some years ago, and the first project we did was make flipbooks with postit note books! if only this channel had existed back then it could have been a wonderfully inspirational source of knowledge! and we probably would have gotten a bunch of your kits too! thanks andymation! and thanks to everyone who was so inspired to send in your wonderful creations!
