- The Pelikan Hubs are an event where passionate writing fans meet other like-minded writing fans to exchange experiences, talking about handwriting and of course showing your own writing instrument collection.
It's a great opportunity to exchange ideas about fountain pens, inks, accessories, and paper. The Pelikan Hubs core is your participation, your support and involvement ➔ from fans for fans!
Yeah, I need that cosmetic holder!! My box doesn't fit another 5x10 tray, so this 2x9 is very very nice!! :D What a lovely gift from a viewer/pen friend!! :) I am a new lover of Pelikan!! I missed the pelikan hub this year, but I'll be sure to make it next year. I want an m800 someday, but for now I have an M605 and an M1000 :D
Thanks for watching!
Pelikan Edelstein Topaz is a really pretty color of blue that I like If you want a little teal Apatite is a beautiful tealish/blueish ink and if you want a little glitz and glam Golden Beryl is a really nice ink too :)
Edelstein means Gemstone: so Pelikan Edelstein Golden Beryl is a gemstone ,Apitite is a gemstone, Rose Quartz is a gemstone, Smoky Quartz is a gemstone , and so forth for the entire Edelstein series :) HOpe that helps
I put it in my Noodlers Konrad with FPR Ultraflex nib and it works great in a flexy pen lays down a thicker amount of color so makes it more rich in the swells looks amazing :)
Thanks for the information!
@@PEIPenGuy you are most welcome
Edelstein, German for gemstone.
Thanks!
I attended the one over here in London and agree that the gift of a full bottle of ink plus the writing pad(s) was a really generous gesture by
Pelikan 👍
It was a fun event!
Only the ones from last year - Apatite, Star Ruby, and Moonstone
I was looking at a Moonstone Pelican the other day. Beautiful pen.
Sadly not enough registrants in St. John's NL! Maybe next year :) lovely ink!
That is sad. Try again next year!
Apparently pelikan did away with the transparent barrels, so you can't check the ink level anymore
It's sad they did that.
Indeed, they removed transparency for the newly released stripped Souverän. That being said some non-stripped Pelikan still have an ink window.
I really hope they will bring the transparency back though.
@@lukaszpokoju this is what pelikan said was the motivation for their decision: “The fact that we will use from now on the same material for fountain pen barrels and upper parts of ballpoint pens/pencils and barrels of rollerballs, will assure the sets of fountain pen with ballpoint pen, pencil and rollerball will now match.”
I did go last night. I haven’t tried the paper or ink yet. I assume it’s the same paper as last year’s pad. So generous to give us a full bottle of ink.
Hope you had a good time. The paper is the same as last year. I like the ink but I'm tempted to try and darken it just a little. Have you tried many Pelikan inks before?
PEI is seriously where it's at, hah! I'm in NB and my local store in Moncton has a small collection of fountain pens, but not much enthusiasm about them. 😅
We're spoiled here! The owners of the Bookmark have recently bought Westminster Books in Fredericton.
