Honda Car India’s factory in Greater Noida is gaining a lot of prominence and it’s one of the 10 locations worldwide that the Civic is produced. Always great to see the Civic built. We have a plant up the highway in Alliston.
It's so weird to Imagine Honda and Diesel in the same sentence. Even weirder will be ev Hondas.

India is so obsessed with diesel and so the company has to make changes in order to stick in the market.
@@balasubramanianv7331 I don't agree with you. Honda lost a lot of sales because of not offering Diesel. Honda's petrol engines are undoubtedly the best and I am a big fan of them too but the point is 20 Lakhs for car isn't that expensive anymore because we have those big shit SUVs costing way more than that. The point is India can not get over diesel yet so they have to offer it in order to stay in the market and if they don't offer some sales will surely divert towards competition and definitely not good for Honda. BMW, Merc and so on are offering Diesel with their premium offerings and thats because people want it.
Balasubramanian V If you checked my comment properly it stats that most Indian car buyers are obsessed with Diesel engines and so car manufacturers have to work as per market requirements and so they can not neglect it.

Nitish Bangia I don’t think that what you are saying is correct. Cars get lights only because the car is driven safe in the night. The colour does not matter if the lights are on and it is the driver’s fault if he/she has not turned the lights on. Also luxury car manufacturers offer black colour in all their cars. According to me, companies do not offer black colour in India as India generally has hot and sunny climate and dark colours attract heat.

Octavia is more reliable. No need to worry about after sales service. Service too is 15000kms or 1 years unlike Honda keeps on calling you every 3 months or 5000 kms

Sabin Baha’i,Pakistan people prefer petrol cars rather than diesel ,where as in India it’s other way around ,we prefer diesel .most of the car companies are getting rid of Diesel engines like Toyota Honda etc ,Pakistan is easy and preferable market for petrol cars ,example ,in India we been waiting for Toyota rush car for ages but they launched it in Pakistan ,not in india only because of no Diesel engine available with Toyota

If u have trouble with ur Honda car, the only option is to go for new one. Worst service. This company has no ethics, they are not at all concerned about customer relationships. They will never respond as required even if u write hundred times. Maruthi nails it well. Going to sell my Honda soon.
Balasubramanian V thanks for your reply. I live in Coimbatore. There are two official service stations for Honda here. Tried both, the worst experience was with TVS (sundaram Honda). After getting serviced by TVS, started experiencing unusual noise, mileage came down to 11-14kmpl from 18-24kmpl and rough drive (I mean, the engine sound is odd and dash started vibrating so much). Tried fixing it, but it became even worse. It was ok, since it's just a dealership. So I wrote about this to Honda, they responded that they will look in to the issue, it has been a year since then, I wrote mails, I tagged them on Twitter. But they simply ignore. Atleast they should answer me or give me some options. They are arrogant. So does the dealerships (may be not all). That's why I mentioned "better to go for a new car than trying to fix something which will never be fixed." Simply waste of money.
I also have issues with radiator while I replaced it recently...
Most surprising to hear that. Honda are known for their after sales service. I've had an excellent rapport with Olympia Honda for the past 6 years here at Chennai.

Honda Civic is not worth buying as it's outer design looks muscular eventhough it is muscular the quality of materiala used is of low quality Jai Hind.
Mostly all parts/materials are imported and plan for Localisation got cancelled ensuring best overall product quality.. So don't worry and buy if you have money

Honda need not had to bring this butch looking civic, which happens to look like a toned down version of Accord , and stopping just a shade before it starts looking more like a City. No more it has the old Civic looks and neither the perkiness of the old one. Its just a business saloon like a corolla, nothing more.
