    Just got my set of SR-L kit from you guys today, can’t wait to install! I’m going to wire the halo & white light to individual upfitter switches.

    The SRL lights are my favorite rear light! I use the amber option as a dual purpose chase light

    How about a Lumens specifications so as to be able to compare to Rigid Radiance (900) and Rigid Radiance scene (2970)? Thank you!

    Just to add some information to your review. We sell our Raptor reverse light kit with the S2 Sport in a wide-cornering lens. This light gives 1,130 lumens each and an optic that shines a 42 degree flattened beam pattern. Comparing this light with the Rigid SR-L wouldn't be a side by side comparison because of the optics. The Rigid SR-L shines a 120 degree horizontal beam angle. For a true apples to apples comparison, I would recommend using a work/scene S2. This casts a 120 degree beam pattern. Although you get a narrower beam with the wide cornering lens, you'll get greater distance and that's why we sell the kit with this setup. If someone needed broader coverage, a work/scene setup is recommended. But that's another cool feature our product gives compared to the competition, versatility to find the correct setup with interchangeable optics and lenses.
    Let us know if you have any specific questions, we're glad to clarify!

      Thanks for the reply. The biggest comparison for most people is the slim case and the Red Backlight. Is Baja planning on incorporating a red backlight into and S2 or S4 lights any time soon? If so, we can add those to our line up. According to Rigids specifications, the SR-L produces 1,452 lumens (which is 322 more Lumens.) each and as you pointed out a 120 degree a wider area. However, with a similar case size and still high lumen output, the biggest compare for most is the size and the Red backlight as an option.

      I have to agree with John, i have the Baja Designs Fog Pocket Kit "Pro" on the front bumper, but for the rear what I was most interested in was the radiance backlight and the size and shape of the sr-l.

    Very informative. I do think a single amber LED between the BD S2, BD Squadron, BD XL series would be cool. The rigid backlit looks a little tacky to me. I bet BD could pull off a cleaner look. If I had to choose? I would pick a pair of BD S2 scene amber lights as a back up light. However, I was really impressed by the SR-L. Great content. Really made me think. Thank you. I will check out your site when it is time for me to buy more lights.

      Yeah you will be better off with the RIGID SR-L in Amber.

  • @surfmotor

    The Rigid options are much better. Not to mention RIGID has a True Rear Facing red or Amber hi/low lights. Which you didn't mention in the video. Great video though.

      @jhonatas5104 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Let's agree to disagree but I honestly think the sr-l are much better looking lights than the "true rear facing lights" and I don't think Rigid have the no drilling required raptor specific brackets John does.

    Can you tie the white wire into the marker light and red into the reverse light? Any videos of a full install with wiring?

    Any thoughts on a longer SR-L amber for the front fog light spaces? Is that possible with this new series?

    • @jtrischler
      @jtrischler  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is possible. But being slim, you would have a big gap around them. You could maybe get away with them in the lower grille area....

      Thanks for the response! Let us know if you make some brackets or put together a kit for that. Although, getting pulled over for no front license plate can get a little annoying. I’ll be calling and ordering some lights soon.

    Oh man...too bad. I ordered the Baja’s from you a couple of days ago. What were the front bar lights that you’re running? I don’t think I’ve seen a video on those? It doesn’t look like the 40 inch light bar?!?

    • @jtrischler
      @jtrischler  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Bajas are good too. It’s just preference. These are great for the guys that want the slim Bajas and the red backlight.
      I’m actually editing the video on the universal bumper mount and lights now, so keep watching for it...

    I ordered the SR-L Radiance and they just arrived. I was expecting them to tap into the factory Reverse light wiring. Is there a wiring harness that enables them to used as reverse light as well?

      Hey Kevin did you get an answer to this? I’m also curious on that setup

    • @richieatrigid6327

      You splice the wires into the back of the hitch pin harness.

    Do you need a kit to install the lights in the rear?

    • @jhonatas5104
      @jhonatas5104 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I just got the sr-l installed on my 2017 raptor and all I needed was a wire Stripper and Crimper, a flex stem lighter, zip ties and electrical tape.
