    Thank you so much. I don't use WORD a lot and my knowledge gets rusty, this was very helpful.

      I'm glad this look at changing Word formatting was helpful! It can be a big timesaver to change Word to work and look the way you want rather than repeatedly spending time to change each document.

    Very helpful, especially for someone weaned on Word Perfect and who hates Word precisely because of all its default mysteries. Thank you but I also need a lot more.

    Very neat package of instructions. Appreciate it. Just a soft suggestion, though. Can you speed up the rate at which the tutorial proceeds, and without many pauses, just to keep the continuity and attention intact?

    • @nplawz
      @nplawz 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Agreed so I sped it up to 1.75 speed and was still able to easily follow.

    Sure looked like it was going to be easy, but when I did it and opened a new doc, template was not changed. What am I doing wrong?

    I have set the default in the proper way in Word 2007 over and over. I've done the same with other setting with similar results. Word makes me furious.

    • @thesoftwarepro
      @thesoftwarepro  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm sorry to hear that you're having problems saving changes to the default formatting in Word 2007. It's been a long time since I've worked with this version but it sounds like the changes aren't being saved to the Normal template.
      Check to see if you have this option in Word 2007. Go to File > Options > Advanced. In the Save section, pick the option to Prompt before saving Normal template. Next, make changes to the default formatting as mentioned in this training. Then, exit Word. If you see the prompt, confirm to save. If you don't see a prompt, then there's a system issue keeping the Normal template from changing.
